Title: Sales Operations Specialist

Location: Columbia, MO (on-site)

This is an individual contributor position which works under regular supervision supporting the Business Development team and primarily works with sales team, sales management, and operations. This position will provide agents with solutions to technical issues as well as update Agency Services internal system for required documentation, maintain positive communication and document correspondence within the system.

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

  • Work within case system to respond to and resolve agent issues and inquiries.

  • Ensure Agent contact information is set up in appropriate systems for access to Agency Services products and email communications.

  • Supports sales management special projects in support of the sales team and goals.

  • Collects data, analyzes, and reports information regularly and on an ad-hoc basis on competitive comparisons, special programs, customer provided volume data and others as assigned.

  • Produce actionable reporting and analysis to drive performance as requested and directed.

  • Maintain and improve current reporting to meet evolving business requirements.

  • Support sales staff in collection and check in of application documentation and checklist items.

  • Complete internal set up and documentation for new agents.

  • Work alongside sales team to provide onboarding support, resources, and training to new agents

  • Manage the queue for sales team's inquiries. Resolve all sales inquiries in the sales team's queue. Conduct analysis of inquiries and report to managements quarterly to suggest training needs or enhancements to systems and processes.

  • Begin to support a Region in partnership with a Sales Solutions Manager.

  • Act as an additional resource on on-going project teams, as assigned.

  • Collaborate with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure customer needs, customer experience, and the sales team needs are evaluated.

  • Provide support for analysis and obtaining sales team feedback.

  • Responsible for testing systems and reports as assigned.

  • Coordinate, manage and develop materials for Business Development team meetings.

  • Responsible for timely reporting & analysis to management after every meeting.

  • Provide administrative support for department.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) to three (3) years of directly related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Analytical and research experience required

  • Experience working within a sales environment preferred

  • Project team management experience preferred

  • Experience with system testing and implementation preferred

  • Advanced computer skills with all Microsoft Programs specifically Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work productively as part of a team and as an individual contributor

  • Sound analytical & decision making skills

  • Strong customer service orientation
