The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing a smooth, effective sales process and monitoring key performance indicators to enable the growth of the organization. There will be four key areas in which the Sales Operations Manager will support the Physician Sales team: establishing and tracking sales and revenue goals; collaborating with finance on incentive program management; application integration and automation; and support of the daily operations of the team. In this role, the Sales Operations Manager will be a strong team player and multitasker working closely with the VP of Physician Sales, corporate Finance, and the regional sales teams.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop reports to track weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress to established sales targets and KPIs utilizing existing business scorecards and business intelligence dashboards. Continuous evolution of all reports will be necessary to ensure automation and integration into other applications used across the business.
Optimize the sales team's utilization of Salesforce CRM including customization, automation, and integration with other business platforms. Develop KPIs, utilization reports, and routing tools to maximize the effectiveness of the team to achieve established sales targets.
Optimize Market Analytics platforms (Trilliant Health, Definitive Health) to help identify high potential sales targets and partners, understand market share and opportunity, and contribute to annual sales forecasting and budgeting process.
Collaborate closely with Finance team to develop infrastructure and reporting to track internal commission and incentive programs based on budget vs. actuals and ensure timely payments to sales team members. Act as liaison between account executives and Finance on the measurement and execution of incentive programs.
Collaborate with VP of Physician Sales and marketing to establish reporting and dashboards to track the effectiveness of B2B marketing campaigns directed at healthcare professionals
Facilitate tracking and reporting of all monthly sales team-related expenses in expense management platform to ensure budget and compliance adherence
Other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, Statistics, or Marketing.
Salesforce (implementation, customization, optimization, etc.)
Extreme proficiency in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organization skills and excellent oral presentation and communication skills
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred:
Master's Degree.
Salesforce Certified Professional
EMR/EHR and RIS/PACS system awareness and experience
Tableau and/or similar business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Domo, etc.)
Healthcare-specific market analytics platforms (Definitive Health, Trilliant Health, etc.)
Proven experience (3+) in sales operations or related role within the medical device, imaging, or healthcare industry
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and industry standards is preferred
