Role Overview

First and foremost, we're looking for someone who wants to take an early stage company to greatness. This position will serve as a leader on our Sales Operations and Growth team which is committed to growing the Janus footprint across our healthcare customers. We serve as advisors to a wide variety of customers, ensuring Janus is architecting engagements that meet and exceed our customers expectations. The Sales Operations Lead will be responsible for all aspects of our sales operation. Including content creation, analytic reporting, Salesforce management, supporting Janus leadership with forecasting, tactical sales planning, and preparing for day-to-day sales operations. He/ She is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. This role will report to Janus EVP of Growth.

As our Sales Operations Lead you will handle a wide range of company-wide priorities and some of the responsibilities include:

  • Build and lead a sales enablement team structure, including onboarding of additional Sales Enablement resources as Janus scales
  • Supporting the Growth team in sales content creation
  • Management of Janus sales opportunities and management of sales funnel in partnership with the Growth team
  • Continuously evaluate sales related processes for optimization, takes initiatives in solving sales related process issues
  • Coordinate Win and Loss review tracking
  • Coordinate broader marketing activities including participation in webinars and conferences
  • Development of market outreach campaigns and management of outcome metrics
  • Support in development of client sales proposals
  • Managing and maintaining sales data and leads in Salesforce

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in the field or in an area related to Healthcare or consulting, experience with Revenue Cycle Management is a plus, but not required
  • Healthcare Technology or Consulting experience preferred
  • Sales, Sales Operations or Enablement experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Salesforce Experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial, Data-driven, Problem Solver
  • Excellent prioritization, logical deduction and organizational skills
  • Self-motivator and is excited to work in a fast-paced highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player
  • Outstanding organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills

About the Team The NA Sales Strategy and Operations team is responsible for business execution, demand management, planning, and go-to-market design across Workday's North American operations. This team is the strategic advisor to sales, delivering insights and solutions based on best practices and business acumen. Sales Strategy and Operations supports strategic and operational decision-making at this fast-growing technology company. The Sales Strategy & Operations Lead will execute the charter of the team within one or more of North America's five distinct business units, and will serve as the right hand to the respective business unit's GVP. About the Role This role's primary responsibility is to support the sales team to achieve sustainable growth and capture market share. This role will be cross-functional and will orchestrate all components of the "supply chain of selling" including Product, Marketing, Corporate Sales Development, Presales, Sales and Services. Success in the role requires a team player approach, the ability to work across organizations with disparate needs, creativity, and original thinking to proactively identify new and different approaches to analyzing data, to synthesize multiple information sources to generate fresh strategic insights. Insights into market dynamics, buying behaviors, sales execution, pipeline management and competitive trends are key to create and execute action plans to impact the key growth initiatives in the supported region. Key Areas of Responsibility: * Go to Market Planning / Operational Plans - Complete market potential assessment, design, and implementation of sales coverage models, productivity targets, quota credit and compensation rules, territory definition and account assignments. * Coordination of Demand Generation Activities - Work with different stakeholders (Marketing, Value Management, CSD, Sales, Alliances) to drive the regional Demand Generation Boards to optimize pipeline impact and coverage. Identification of pipeline gaps & assessment of pipeline building activities, integrating and coordinating those plans through the DGBs. * Execute Forecasting and Opportunity Management Process - Drive consistency and adoption of the Workday Way Sales Methodology. * Monitor Relevant KPIs and OKRs - Prepare relevant analysis to support senior management decision making, driving transparency and insight into the health of the business and the actions required to improve. * Drive and Support Transformation & Change Activities - Deliver on programs across the supported region ranging from large deal / executive sponsor programs to deal coaching on key opportunities. * Support Business Scalability - Through initiatives such as simplification and standardization of processes, and sharing of best practices across the team and the regions, as well as product or industry-based sales plays. * Prepare Key Presentations - Develop storyline for quarterly business reviews, sales kick off activities, executive approvals, all hands calls etc. * Engaging with Finance/Sales - Drive the annual Budgeting and Planning process. About You Basic Qualifications * Experience in Sales/Sales management. Other Qualifications Knowledge and Experience: * Experience in driving complex, cross organizational projects for process improvement, GTM development, etc. * Experience doing data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis to support and drive business decisions * Experience in business application software and SaaS * General familiarity with consultative selling methodologies * Proficiency with Salesforce.com is highly recommended Business Acumen and Setting Strategy: * Deep understanding of business processes * Strong knowledge of demand generation processes, marketing planning and pipeline build Executing for Results: * Strong communicator who is customer focused and can work across the organization and company to continue improving the way Workday serves customers * The successful candidate must be able to deliver results in the organization.
