Americas Sales Strategy Operations and Enablement (SSOE) is a diverse team that supports the Sales, Demand Generation, Inside Sales, Solution Architects, and Business Development teams across Canada, the US, LATAM and Global to enable AWS teams to better serve our customers in their journey to the cloud.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Productivity & Readiness Lead to partner with the head of the head of the Americas SSOE and the SSOE Leadership Team to define, land and execute against our Sales Productivity & Readiness strategic priorities for the SSOE team. This role will be responsible for ensuring high productivity of our SSOE work force from the initial onboarding through to continuous "Always-boarding". The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of field enablement and sales operations in a large organization, sales and marketing dynamics with the ability to map SSOE job function requirements into a comprehensive enablement plan to improve key competencies/skills and ultimately productivity. This is a hands-on position with high visibility - the ideal candidate must be willing to "roll up the sleeves" and get things done.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Translate business needs into an enablement plan for SSOE team.

  • Perform detailed needs assessments in coordination with internal resources then create, develop, manage, and lead the successful execution of cross-functional programs in conjunction with SSOE leadership team and other key stakeholders.

  • Assist in the development of the master plan and calendar for sales productivity and readiness activities throughout the year. Drive execution of the various onboarding and always-boarding initiatives and programs .

  • Own the Sales Productivity and Readiness input to the Monthly and Quarterly business reviews, and represent the Sales and Productivity team in MBRs and QBRs.

  • Design and implement metrics to measure training programs and impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.

  • Review and manage the existing content library to determine opportunities to improve the learning experience, ensure the content is current and relevant and best technology is employed.

  • Continually assess readiness gaps, and work with the appropriate stakeholders to quickly develop the right initiatives and programs to close them.

The Technical Program Manager, Sales Productivity and Operations owns the backlog, scoping, prioritization, and ultimate delivery for the Sales Productivity and Operations agile development team. You will work as the product owner for the team, partnering with internal business stakeholders and the development team to deliver features that achieve business goals & delight customers. In addition, you will help lead operational efforts to ensure the Tableau sales enablement systems are delivering maximum value for the Sales organization. Examples of the systems that this TPM may interact with include Salesforce, Apttus, Gainsight, AWS, and more. This role is on the Customer Acquisitions Programs team within Tableau Technical Operations. Some of the things you will be doing… * Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deeply understand their business needs translate them into workable backlog items * Owning a product roadmap to deliver work that is properly scoped & prioritized * Partnering with fellow TPMs to deliver cross-team features/projects * Analyzing the trade-offs between custom built and vendor solutions * Working with development teams to adequately resource and schedule features for delivery * Working within a scrum ecosystem as a product owner * Maintaining reports for work in progress and the status of delivering against your roadmap * Writing, maintaining, and designing technical and project documentation for internal use * Communicating (both written and verbal) in an organized and clear way * Problem solving across various technology systems & business processes to propose ideas, scope features, and implement solutions * Aiding in internal recruitment and hiring, helping Tableau continue to build one of the best companies and workplace cultures in the world Who you are... * Customer Focused.
