The Sales Operations Director maintains a broad perspective across the company responsible for providing leadership and direction in the development, execution and integration of all projects and work streams for the Division. Will assist with the transformation surrounding people, processes and technologies. The Director will be responsible for developing and leveraging partnerships with support resources and teams across AMN. This position will work closely with divisional and company leadership in the development and execution of projects and initiatives, not only related to the specific division, but to the entire enterprise, including the deployment of new innovative business strategies. This individual will bring energy and curiosity to understanding complex challenges and imagine new ways to solve them.
Develops strong working relationships with division leadership and aligned business unit support leadership within AMN. Helps develop and execute business strategies, plans, and initiatives. Should be seen as a strong partner and trusted advisor by AMN leadership as well as divisional leadership.
Works closely with the Executive leadership and their teams, leading and aligning enterprise and divisional projects.
Develops and communicates new sales operations process implementation as a part of an over-arching organizational initiative
Strong communicator delivering business recommendations based on analytics. (Both written and verbally).
Identifies opportunities to use analytics and reporting toolsets to influence decision-making and achieve business objectives.
Ability to write functional requirement specifications for application enhancements
Familiarity with a progressive BI tool set is helpful (Qlikview, Tableau, MS PowerBI, etc)
Ability to learn Qlikview to develop advanced reporting that cannot be accomplish through typical transactional reporting limitations. Work with stakeholders to operationalize the reporting to impact the organization.
Serves as an internal consultant and leader for all project management and the associated sequencing and alignment of work streams and initiatives.
Takes lead on change management ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition(s) and that changes are effectively integrated into the business.
Manage process improvement initiatives within agreed operational functions. Identify and implement improvements in process and conduct regular process review cycles.
Partners with Finance business unit support in developing and tracking the ROI on new initiatives, projects and process redesign and implementation.
Serve as the interface with Shared Services for operational excellence
Assist in the development, and execution of various presentations; internal and external.
Quickly and succinctly translates issues into business terms, using excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Education, Certifications & Experience
Minimum Experience, Skills & Abilities:
Strong healthcare staffing industry knowledge, experience and understanding of the market, business models, processes and structure.
Proven success in project planning and management
Proven success and experience in business operations
Exceptional skills in process design and proven experience in process redesign and execution.
Proven success at planning, leading and sequencing multiple projects and work streams
Knowledge of Billing, Payroll and Accounts Receivable practices and processes.
Strong leadership, influencing, planning and organization and communications skills with the ability to proactively manage time and juggle workload across different types of tasks at one time and staying within project scope in a fast paced environment.
