We are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to support sales forecasting, analysis, reporting, operations, processes, and systems. Our Sales Ops Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Operations and work with the Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance teams. Our Analyst will serve as the front-line contact for the sales team, and he/she will be responsible for all aspects of sales order entry and management in NetSuite; weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting; sales process support; and commissions calculations.

The ideal candidate must be able to reinforce sales processes diplomatically, but also be able to provide recommendations for improvements and be adaptable when changes are needed. The candidate must be detail oriented and be able to balance competing priorities.

The following are typical activities and responsibilities of the Sales Operations Analyst

  • Analyze and calculate subscription orders, including co-terminus add-ons, and provide pre-sales guidance to sales team
  • Guide and train the sales team on use of
  • Serve as primary point of contact with customers regarding receipt of POs, missing information, lead times and order confirmation
  • Work with manufacturing teams on product availability and lead times
  • Understand and make recommendations on NetSuite business processes related to order management
  • Regularly report on billings, bookings, and commissions


Required Knowledge and

  • 5+ years of order management and/or sales operations experience
  • Critical thinking and analysis
  • Proven history of workplace adaptability and continued desire to learn
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to remain detail oriented in stressful situations
  • Understanding of basic GAAP principles
  • Strong organization skills, time management and ability to multi-task
Recommended Knowledge and

  • Prior experience with

  • Familiarity managing both hardware and software orders
  • Experience with B2B subscription order management


Bachelors Degree in operations, finance, or accounting

5+ years of order management and/or sales operations experience

In collaboration with the U.S. sales leadership, and marketing this position also executes U.S. pricing strategies and pricing contracts. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES: * Responsible for overseeing sales analytics to ensure timely and accurate reporting of key performance indicators. * Communicate with customers and internal teams to facilitate contract negotiation positions and expedite contract execution. * Work with Sales and Finance departments to develop and administer the company's sales forecast. * Works with sales leadership to develop pricing strategies, and implements with customer service and finance teams. * Ensures timely, accurate, and prompt forecast submissions. * Assess the business risks associated with proposals and contracts and communicate with management. * Review all completed documents for accuracy, pricing consistency and compliance with approval requirements. Work with finance and legal teams to obtain required approvals on contracts. * Coordinate delivery and execution of contracts and distribution of file copies to clients and internally. * Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract administrative obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner. * Maintain & review contract tracker regularly for expiring contracts and work with Customers to renew agreements and ensure all relevant information is accurate & complete. * Monitor contracts to verify compliance with fulfillment schedules, design specifications, and legal requirements and financial accruals. * Manages, coaches, and develops sales analyst responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, and commission calculations. * Build effective relationships throughout sales, marketing, finance, customer service, IT, and human resources, as well as other functional leaders in order to communicate commercial priorities and foster collaboration between functions. * Ensures compliance with company revenue recognition polices for booking and shipment of orders. * Creates, analyzes, and reports sales data and makes recommendations regarding sales improvements and program effectiveness. * Develops and implements sales compensation plans with Sales Leadership, Finance and HR. * Oversees the administration of the commission plan with Sales Leadership in developing effective compensation programs that reward revenue growth with Apollo product lines. Ensures compensation plans are in compliance with local employment laws and equitably administered. * Manages the calculations of the commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions. * Analyze sales-related expenses and ensure they are in line with budgets and strategy of the organization. * Oversee sales data quality/integrity of all sales reports. * Provide Austin based support to the VP, NA Sales & Global Marketing, as well as all District Manager, acting as liaison with cross functional departments internally. * Review sales orders and ensure accuracy of Purchase Orders * Develops the sales operations team * Other duties may be assigned BASIC SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
