Department overview:

Support the sales teams including, but not limited to, contract generation, assisting in renewal processes, usage of Sales Force Automation, Vanguard, Business Objects and SAP Valid Order Package processes and general administrative support.

Position summary

Under supervision provide sales support for 1-2 business lines across the assigned sales teams on behalf of the Sales Operations Sales Support.

Duties & accountabilities

  • Responsible for providing support and administrative coordination on the sales/renewal process for a limited number of account managers.

  • Able to support contractual guidelines of I H S Markit products for account managers, finance, product managers, product delivery, order management, and sales operations in an accurate and organized manner.

  • Assist in prepararation and distribution for client legal agreements, attachments, proposals, purchase orders and business correspondence as required.

  • Process signed and executed renewal contracts in Sales Force Automation system and liase with order management and sales operations.

  • Process product or service cancellations. Create cancellation forms and route to Order Management Help Desk for processing.

  • Identify and or upload contracts utilizing the global contract repository requested by the account manager on behalf of the client.

  • Responsible for researching and resolving of product delivery and invoicing challenges on behalf of the customer/account manager, with the ability to accurately and succinctly explain any such resolution to the appropriate Sales team member, Sales Manager or client contact.

  • Update Bill To/Ship To information on Renewal opportunity records as needed.

  • Assist and work with sales on outstanding orders still waiting on information and/or waiting on PO in order to process and complete for revenue recognition.

Business competencies

Education and experience

  • Sales Operations experience preferred

  • Preferred experience in the sales organization working specifically with I H S software/data contracts.

  • Applied working knowledge in all MS Office applications.

  • Highly organized and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks.

  • Previous experience working with a CRM application.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to organize thoughts and ideas.

  • Must have the ability to interact professionally with both clients and peers.

  • Must have the ability to work under moderate supervision and handle multiple tasks.

He or she manages essential functions including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales policy governance, headcount management, and sales compensation design and implementation. The VP, Sales Operations is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization including designing, tracking and communicating key metrics. The VP of Sales Operations will build, evangelize, and deliver a world-class sales operations function to support our sales team to further accelerate our growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Design and implement key metrics to define optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. * Aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance management priorities. * Provides thought leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the CSO. * Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization consistent with other processes at Paycor. * Responsible for equitably assigning sales force quotas and ensuring Paycor's financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources. * Partners with senior sales leadership to identify and successfully implement opportunities for sales process improvement. * Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement. * Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity. * Works closely with the CSO and CTO to understand sales and technology strategy. * Recommends changes and enhancements to the CRM technology platform. * Ensures sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organization. * Coordinates with sales leadership to lead efficient and accurate reporting initiatives. Develops new reporting tools as needed. * Works closely with Accounting, Finance, and HR to establish and oversee the administration of sales compensation program and rules, policies, and procedures. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
