The Growth Enablement team (GET) provides sales support for the Healthcare practice including sales operations (reporting, initiatives, campaigns, account strategy, sales team support, training, etc.) and sales enablement (proposal & RFP writing, Orals presentations, and sales collateral).
The Sales Operations Associate role leverages knowledge of Huron solutions, sales strategy, and the healthcare industry to lead growth and strategic sales initiatives for assigned projects and programs. In this role, the Associate has a variety of responsibilities that include supporting an assigned Sales Leader(s) and Sales Team(s), addressing operational requests from a variety of Healthcare sellers, leading ongoing sales initiatives designed to grow Huron's business, and providing training as needed.
A successful candidate will have solid communication and critical thinking skills enabling poise and confidence when working with senior leaders across the Healthcare practice, be a strategic partner to sellers and an innovation advocate, be able to manage to a workplan, be able to manage a variety of tasks with deadlines that often require a quick turnaround, possess strong attention to detail, provide high-quality deliverables and service, and be personally motivated to support to Huron sellers in meeting sales goals.
Reporting to a Sales Operations Manager, this position actively coordinates with individuals across the Growth Enablement to instill consistency and best practices across teams. Further, this role will lead discussions and strategize with senior practice leadership who actively participate in sales pursuits.
Sales Leader Support
Prepare for Sales Leader call by analyzing current team results and Sales Leader and Sales Team needs. Seek to be a strategic partner. Assist with development of the Sales Lead agenda that includes status updates and next steps on requests/initiatives, findings from analysis as appropriate, and ideas to advance the team in meeting their sales goals.
Assist with the development of the Sales Team call draft agenda for the Sales Leader to review.
Attend and support Sales Leader 1:1 updates with their Sales Team members as requested. Send agendas in advance, take notes, provide strategic input as appropriate, send notes afterward, and ensure follow-up occurs.
Sales Team and/or Market Support
Collaborate internally with Sales Operations team members and with Sales Lead to develop strategic Sales Team meeting agendas using effective communication methods. Seek to understand and implement best practices across teams.
Develop high-quality, effective team materials in a consistent and timely manner
Assist with facilitation of team meetings and address questions in a professional manner
Provide meeting notes and follow-up items timely
Enter relevant action items into Salesforce timely
Identify, assist with development, and assist with training on various sales strategies and support tools such as needed
Sales Opportunity and Account Support
Provide strategic and administrative support to Sales Lead and Sales Team members as needed which may be received via a direct request or, most commonly, through our intake processes
Attend and support Account Planning calls as assigned (and requested adhoc) performing research in advance, preparing agendas, taking notes, updating Salesforce, and sending notes and action items as needed
Facilitate and support sales strategy meetings with sales pursuit teams as requested
Assist with client outreach campaigns through research, analysis, materials development, outreach tracking, and follow-up as needed
Complete client research and data analysis as needed to support sales efforts
Update Huron's client relationship management (CRM) tool and provide reports / queries as needed ensuring key account information is accurate
Develop basic presentations and placemats and find appropriate case studies/references as needed
Review Sales Team dashboards and other analysis to provide insights to Sales Lead as appropriate as part of regular and ad-hoc updates
Trend quarterly seller metrics and assist with the Sales Team performance summary to Sales Lead each quarter
Support win/loss review and competitive intel processes as needed
Monitor Sales Team compliance associated key processes / expectations. Proactively reach out to Sales Team members as needed to bring attention to the issue(s) and provide support for correction as needed.
Support Sales Operations Initiatives
Assist with ongoing and ad-hoc Sales initiatives with dependability, tenacity, critical thinking, and a bias for innovation. Assist with workplan development and manage against timelines successfully.
Assist with complex data analysis and leverage CRM reporting as needed
Communicate risks and opportunities proactively
Assist with the development of materials as needed to explain and communicate about initiatives and provide updates in relevant forums as needed (internal calls, team calls, practice calls, leadership calls)
Assist with other special projects and priorities that serve the broader practice
May direct the work of others as needed as a formal or informal supervisor

Bachelor's Degree required
A minimum of 2 years of relevant business experience
Consulting background or sales operations experience preferred
Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US - note this in a non-billable role with limited travel required.
