SugarCRM is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our team as a Sales Operations Analyst. This critical role will provide support to the global sales and customer success organization.
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Sales Operations, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales and customer success related data and operational practices, in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. The development and tracking of key performance indicators will be critical to enhance the understanding of the business and to improve decision-making.
The Sales Analyst will create both standardized & custom reports and conduct qualitative product & sales analysis.
Impact you will make in the role:
Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data to measure and increase sales productivity
Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas
Analyze sales and performance records and interpret results of overall sales
Develop models and reporting structure that identify costs (by function, process, fixed, variable) per unit (store, order, script, other) and identify a baseline for action
Guide sales people in entering an accurate forecast in our CRM tool, generate reports for forecast, and collaborate forecasts into weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Coordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales and customer success channels
In coordination with the Manager and VP of Sales Operations, communicate sales reporting and forecasting to Senior Management
Analyze results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance
Generate ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing, Business Analysts, and Product Management
Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives
Conduct quantitative analysis including but not limited to ROI, trending, identification and assessment of opportunity and risk, forecasting, regressions, correlation, cannibalization and probability modeling
In coordination with the Manager and Director of Sales Operations, communicate results to key stakeholders to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations
Ensure current and future data and software requirements are met to provide accurate decision support to the business.
Expertise you will bring in:
BS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, or any related field
1-2+ years of analyst experience in a related field (Software Sales, Management Consulting or Finance)
Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, forecasting, cannibalization and probability modeling
Experience supporting sales organizations, especially building and implementing a variety of sales and business processes
Tech savvy, with the ability to think creatively and prioritize
Experienced with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms. Prior Tableau experience is a plus
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and relational databases
Ability to work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and focus on execution
Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources
High degree of attention to detail
