Job Description:

Illumina's AMR Sales Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to execute operational support within the Sales workstreams. The primary goal of this role is to support frontline sales stakeholders through daily operational challenges, analytical insights, administration, and coordinated execution. This position will also collaborate on initiatives with internal cross functional teams across the Commercial Organization to support the sales team consisting of Account Managers, Specialists, and Inside Sales. The AMR Sales Operations team focuses on evolving the sales end-user experience through process improvements, strategic projects, and reporting & analysis.

The ideal candidate is a driven and a confident communicator who can follow instructions and embodies an inquisitive mindset. Success on this fast-paced team relies on strong time-management skills, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and most importantly, flexibility.

This position is a Hybrid role required to be at the San Diego HQ Office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and solve general inquiries in the team inbox from frontline sales representatives, and sales managers

  • Triage inquires and coordinate support around territory administration, forecasting setup, account and customer data, and systems

  • Build relationships and act as a trusted business partner to AMR Sales, Global Sales Operations and Finance teams

  • Assist sales account managers with data quality tracking and ad-hoc reporting requests

  • Provide on-boarding training support on commercial applications to enhance the sales employee experience

  • Tackle problems of moderate scope where data analysis is needed

  • Executes within defined policies, procedures, and practices

  • Effectively communicates to management team

  • Performs other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, BA or BS (Science, Engineering, or Business preferred)

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus

  • Understanding of an end to end sales process is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

  • Tableau experience is a plus

  • Position is required to be in San Diego HQ office 2 days per week

The estimated base salary range for the Sales Operations Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $51,500 - $77,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
