Facebook is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, process/detail-oriented and creative Analyst, who will serve as a member of Facebook's Sales Operations team. This position will have a day-to-day focus on providing analytical, strategic, and operational support for Facebook's Global Accounts Team. This role will work cross-functionally with several organizations at Facebook (including Product Marketing, Product Analytics, Finance, and Sales), with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook's mission, have a background in a quantitative or technical field, have experience problem-solving using large data sets, and can communicate strategic recommendations effectively with leadership. This position is located in our New York Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish & refine rhythm of business analyses and weekly reporting cadence for Global Accounts sales leadership

Perform root cause analyses to identify business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and trends

Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers and provide recommendations to leadership

Use data to inform, influence and support market sizing, product roadmap & product launch decisions

Assist Sales Ops and Sales teams with annual planning, resourcing, and other operational asks, including assistance with process design

Perform ad-hoc analysis for Sales Ops and Sales leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business or related field
    5+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 3+ years with MBA/Master's degree
    2+ years of statistical experience (creating attribution models, A/B tests or lift analysis)

Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

Demonstrated experience presenting technical content to audiences

Excel and Tableau experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

Experience with online advertising

Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
