The MPP Growth team leads partnership development efforts with prospective health system clients to assess the financial value and operational delivery risk of a partnership with Optum. Our goal is to convert sales prospects into revenue generating partnerships utilizing broader Optum's solutions to make the health system work better for everyone. We work closely with the initial sales/origination team, senior leadership, solution design, transition readiness, and business units throughout the organization to ensure collaboration and process optimization for the entirety of the sales cycle.
The MPP Sales Operations Consultant will be responsible for supporting the MPP Chief of Staff and Growth Operations team in efforts related to department day-to-day operations and sales support activities. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business. The consultant will be focused on ensuring the integrity of the MPP sales pipeline, targeting, data tracking and analysis to provide stakeholders with recommendations and insights to improve performance. The Sales Operations Consultant will also aid in process standardization and assist in development of standard templates / SOPs for conducting more efficient operations.

Sales Operations Reporting
Manages the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the broader sales organization.
Recommends revisions to existing reports, assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
Create dashboards, reports and account analysis
Supports sales executive leaders with account targeting and analytics
Assist in identifying and collecting internally available & public healthcare data to support sales forecasting and strategy development
Track short- and long-term sales data & model future outcomes
General Pipeline Administration
Supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives and enables the sales team in achievement of sales target
Deep understanding of Salesforce processes and reporting, dashboards, and understanding of revenue data, sales funnel, and opportunities.
Makes recommendations to Leadership as it relates to sales operations policies/practices and assistance.
Collaborate with broader organization leadership and peers, and be a go-to person for MPP pipeline management questions
Ability to self-manage longer-term projects in the best interest of the MPP team, such as a Salesforce instance migration project
Working with Accounting / Finance in booking complex opportunities spanning multiple business segments
Train staff on new technology and software
Attend team meetings and take detailed, action-driven meeting minutes
Pipeline-related Collateral Maintenance
Create weekly / monthly / quarterly content for executive presentations and board / business reviews
Oversee the work of junior global operations analyst
Maintain daily pipeline slide summaries, opportunity health check & go-to-green plans, deal dashboard updates, etc.
Assist team with project management activities for early stage client-facing work, following a project plan and supporting the creation of executive-ready deliverables
Occasionally manage shared inbox requests and assist with SharePoint administration activities as needed
Executive briefing document creation: Conduct research and gather information on prospective clients through online research and internal database information. Summarize content for executive-level review
Client profiles development: Access publicly available reports to collect prospective client data. Insert these data points into templates to generate outputs. Research partner websites and access latest financial statements.

Associate degree (or higher)
3 + years of experience in sales operations as a Salesforce subject matter expert with proficiency creating reports, optimizing processes, and managing dashboards
Microsoft Office proficient - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook including the ability to open, create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets, and emails, other forms of documents.
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Experience with project management & ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

Bachelor's degree (or higher)

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
