Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s (4 year Degree) Essential Skills & Experience: 6 – 8 years of experience of Sales for a glass container to Pharmaceutical customers, Experience in Sales, Manufacturing, customer service teams; customer coordination.
Microsoft Office, SAP Hana, Sales Force CRM. Key Roles/Responsibilities: Develop and regular update on Pharma Segment Strategic Overview and Analysis Develop Annual Sales Budgeting for Pharma Segment.
Direct responsibility for Development and Growth of the Pharma moulded glass containers Sales. – Type 1 , 11 & 111 – flint & amber. Maintain Annual Customer Profiles for Major Accounts Consisting of Items, Annual Quantities Pieces and Sales Dollars. Total Glass Sales For Major Accounts Included.
Recommend Alternate Products Based on Cost, Availability or Specifications. Provides Monthly Reports Consisting of Account Sales Summaries, Aged Inventory, Sales Projections, Account Receivables and Other Pertinent Sales Information. Provide Value Added Services Including Technical Support and Product Training.
Prepare weekly / fortnightly & monthly business activity report, travel report etc. Make in person / virtual Presentations to Pharma customers Primary Responsibility for entering Request for Quotations. Present Pricing and Terms in Accordance with Standard Procedures.
Accurately Process Customer Transactions such as Orders, Quotes and Other Issues. Monitor Scheduled Shipment dates to Ensure Timely Delivery and Expedite as Needed. Fill Requests for catalogs, Information and Samples as Needed.
Maintain Customer Files and Contacts for Purchasing, Packaging, Quality and Planning.- All data in Sales Force CRM and back up. Communicate to the Purchasing Department Unexpected Increases or Decreases in Demand for Products. Educate Customers About Terminology, Features and Product benefits in Order to Improve Product Sales and Customer Satisfaction.
Any additional jobs, tasks, or responsibilities assigned to them by their immediate manager/supervisor. Technical / Functional Competencies Sound knowledge of glass manufacturing & new product development – specifically pharmaceutical glass. Ability to understand technical terms used in the glass industry Sound knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software Strong customer orientation Process knowledge of end to end approval from customers.
