What you will do

The primary objectives of the Showcase Intern will be toengage in and support the initiatives of the BE Global Customer Visits and

Showcase. Specific goals will be defined by the director, including activitiessuch as event coordination, as well as supporting specific communication,customer support and marketing areas.

How you will do it:

  • Support the overall team with avariety of administrative work focused on making our showcase visits aworld-class experience for all of our customers

  • Work directly with our Showcaseteam to help plan and execute customer visits

  • Partner with internalstakeholders, such as facilities, catering or security for event preparationneeds

  • Create PowerPoint presentationsfor internal and external customers that support our Customer Visit Program

  • Support our marketing effortsby creating marketing content for upcoming client visits and sales supportmaterial

  • Partner with our managementteam to assist on projects as needed

  • Be open to learning andperforming a variety of tasks that are specific to our Showcase Customer VisitProgram

Duration:This is a year round internship. Qualified candidates must be located in thegreater Milwaukee area and available to work a minimum of 20 hours/week andadditional availability is even better! You must be available to work fulltime, 40 hours/week during the summer. Ideally we would target a sophomore lookingto stay through his/her graduation.


What we look for

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university

  • Currently a freshman or sophomore pursuing a degree in field directly related to marketing, event planning or communication

  • Must be in the Milwaukee area and available a minimum of 20 hours/week during the semester and full-time during the summer

  • Strong project management skills and pronounced attention to detail

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and active listening skills

  • Strong analytical skill set

  • Variety and complexity of projects and goals, requires adaptability; resourcefulness and strong teamwork skills

  • Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently- not afraid to jump into work and ask questions

  • High level of emotional maturity and executive presence

  • Eager and willingness to work hard

  • Familiarity with Adobe is a great value add

  • Opportunity to work outside of the normal 9 5 hours, as needed

The Digital Marketing Intern works directly with the Marketing & Communications Digital Marketing team in planning, developing, analyzing and implementing digital programs and efforts to effectively communicate Baird's messages both internally and externally. Hours Part-time during the school semester, approximately 15-16 hours per week. During the summer, approximately 30-37.5 hours per week. We are looking for a local student who is able to start in May 2019. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will: * Update Baird email campaigns. * Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) research and execution. * Conduct research for advertising, media relations and marketing purposes. * Assist with content management of Baird's website properties: Web ad landing pages, video clip postings, Financial Advisor websites and more. * Perform other projects and activities as assigned in support of Marketing & Communications Digital Marketing Team.
