Volt is immediately hiring for a "Direct Hire" Sales Manager ($100K-$120K) in Buena Park, CA.

As a Sales Manager you will:

  • Manage and supervise the customer service team, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers, including regular visits to their locations as well as the facilities.

  • Track and manage bookings execution to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets.

  • Proactively communicate with customers to ensure positive outcomes on bookings, customer service, and perception, while also providing early warning on potential issues.

  • Maintain regular communication with operations teams to monitor production status.

  • Coordinate with engineering/New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to support quotation processes.

  • Manage and streamline all quote, order management, and related processes.

  • Support, in coordination with the VP of Sales, overall sales activities, including capture plans, market analysis, business plans, EBIDTA targets, win strategies, commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and closures.

  • Lead pricing strategy development for assigned accounts to meet and exceed profit goals.

  • Act as the primary interface with customers, developing relationships, expanding networks, and creating sales opportunities.

  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction and serve as the strategic contact point.

  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with company growth and profitability objectives.

  • Conduct research and market analysis to identify new business opportunities.

  • Maintain a sales funnel and lead RFPs up to contract closure.

  • Cooperate with business management, program management, and sales support functions to meet customer and sales objectives.

This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity!

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High energy, self-driven, and proactive mindset.

  • Strong people leadership and teamwork skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with effective workload management abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in analytical tools, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting

  • Proactive in adopting systems or technology to streamline business processes, with ERP system

  • proficiency.

  • Comfortable with confrontation and able to resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about products and capabilities.

  • College degree not required, but preferred.

  • 5-7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Must reside within a reasonable commute distance to the onsite position.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/Year

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
