The Position:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing the sales initiatives for Studio Coworking and Studio Private on the East Coast, covering NYC, Boston and Washington D.C.. This position will report to the Studio Head of Sales, and will work on deals him/herself, as well as will co-manage part of the community team to lease-up Studio locations. To do so, this role will work with and build relationships with the regional leasing teams, with local brokers, and with the community teams to drive sales across Studio and Studio Private globally. Additionally, this role should, together with the head of sales, create sales SOPs and trainings for the Studio community, and will be responsible for developing initiatives and campaigns to improve the sales performance for the different products. Lastly, this role will be responsible for working with the local teams to ensure the retention of our members.

General Responsibilities:

Studio:

  • Support the lease-up of new locations (pre-opening and on the first months) of your region

  • Create campaigns to lease-up spaces as needed per region, based on what is needed (E.g. hot desks or large offices campaigns based on performance, broker campaigns if engagement is low)

  • Provide sales training to the Studio teams including but not limited to- how to do leasing tours, talking points, how to engage a customer, how to follow-up and close a deal, and for constantly refreshing this training

  • Responsible for studying the market and working with the Head of Sales in defining broker commissions across the board for Studio, and per Studio location within your region

  • Provide training to the local leasing teams on what Studio is; how we market the product and how to price it and how to approach the brokers

  • Research and provide broker-related incentives (e.g. larger commissions during pre-leasing; raffles; sponsorships etc.)

  • Ensure consistently high renewal rates and lead initiatives to sustain a high retention rate of tenants

  • Implement best practices for sales process both to the Studio and leasing teams

What we look for:

  • College graduate with a 4 year degree

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a sales or leasing role within a fast-paced environment

  • Sales experience required - exposure to real estate or Co-working would be considered a plus

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding and experience leading a regional team

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

  • Passion and understanding for creative and innovative communities and community building while respecting companies' boundaries

  • Travel within the region required
