Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager that will be responsible for leading a sales team to grow our South Florida business region. The selected candidate can live anywhere between West Palm Beach and Miami, and will report directly to the Florida Regional General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital role charged with the growth and development of both people and business, this Sales Manager is responsible for growing Richelieu's sales with existing as well as new customers through the successful leadership of their outside sales team. The Sales Manager will ensure that costs are in control, affect a high level of employee drive and motivation, and provide quality training towards their sales force.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6 Territory Sales Representatives and 1 Specifications Representative covering the South Florida region

  • Join team of Territory Sales Representatives on field sales calls with existing and prospective customers, providing positive as well as constructive feedback

  • Provide ongoing training and development towards the sales team including consultative selling skills, effective business-building methodologies, and product knowledge

  • Serve as a liaison with operations staff

  • Affect a high level of employee drive, passion, and team morale

  • Direct and monitor all sales activities for the region, maintaining accountability for required budgets and sales targets

  • Manage individual sales representative performance by setting clear expectations and promoting a high-performance culture

  • Establish and monitor a proper product mix in order to maximize gross margin

  • Coordinate promotions with the sales and marketing teams

  • Be responsible for organizing and leading Regional Sales Meetings in assigned territory

The primary responsibility of the Director of Regional PRO Services will be to lead and execute the PRO Premier and CARE sales model in their designated region. This position will serve as a close partner to the SDROs and vital link between the stores and their SSC partners. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: * Three+ years of relevant experience in progressively responsible sales leadership roles within retail required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the Company * Must possess leadership and communication abilities to drive ideas across their division * Clear and concise communicator accomplished at executing strategy and building consensus without direct authority * Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and strategic solutions * Ability to lead and influence change * Demonstrated retail sales experience with an emphasis on influential leadership and improving productivity, service, and quality in a sales environment * Proven management of multiple, concurrent, organization wide projects with significant sales impact * Exceptional presentation skills * Ability to work collaboratively * Proven problem-solving and team building skills * Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and time management skills * Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment Essential Job Functions: * Understand and effectively communicate the PRO Premier strategies to educate, train, and drive execution. * High understanding of F&D products and ability to train F&D associates on the utility of those products. * In-store training on processes and tools to enable Floor & Decor stores to deliver a consistent, "best in class" sales experience, driving sales. * Increase sales, average ticket and conversion by driving higher performance through our PRO Premier teams. * Consistently review key performance indicators to identify and address opportunities for improvement. * SME in Sales Force and ability to look at business trends and actions and recommend strategic changes based on evaluation of metrics. * Drive results by utilizing defined metrics and influence management; champion and influence productivity associated with all specialty programs * Act as a coach to store leadership and as a resource to each store employee to inspire and promote the success of each store * Continuously drive sales results through team engagement, empowerment and accountability Working Conditions (travel & environment) * Approximately 80%+ travel required, including overnight air and car travel. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory Requirements Sedentary Work - Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
