Create value through establishing relationships with end building owners in the commercial building market through direct sales of high value solutions and services leveraging the industry trends of IP network connected and controlled devices. Molex relevance comes from providing technology in a totally integrated solution.
The person in the role is the early sponsor in the development of new strategic accounts. The person in the role oversees bid strategies, pricing, teaming, proposal strategies targeted at 'new' strategic accounts. Develop and maintain relationships horizontally across the channel.
Act as resource to the field sales team to assist with cross functional efforts.
Leads Capture of major new opportunities (Strategic Accounts) by working across functional teams to include product management, customer support and logistics with a focus on Strategic Solutions.
Works to support Consultants, Specifiers, Architects, and Partners, on gaining spec position.
Conducts additional pricing analysis for assigned accounts competitive, strategic or alternate channel.
Supports mega-project selling efforts (own or established Strategic Accounts); RFI/RFQ responses, price strategy setting, creation of ROI analyses, past performance validation, project specific Marketing inputs, etc.
Keeps the organization informed of trends, opportunities, and customer requirements on new Strategic Accounts.
In the absence of local US Marketing resource sponsors product seminars and/or technical events. Works with other areas of the organization to provide technical (demos, spec reconciliation), operational (trials), and general first efforts on Advanced Solutions, as needed.
Works with partner sales force to ensure that Marketing provides current and effective collateral material (messaging and value propositions).
Terms/Agreement development and negotiation, teaming and participation in public forums.
Manages good control of expense budgets with appropriate planning of meetings / travel

Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and conduct effective presentations and delivery of message that fit's the audience (customers and Molex personnel).

Experience developing sales plans
