The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving Radius customer acquisition and profit growth targets while leading assigned personnel in achievement of individual, department, and company goals. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, achieving sales goals, representing the Radius sales team, and collaborating with peers and partners on broader organizational goals and individual efforts.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Provide leadership as a key part of the Radius extended management team
Set the example for safety practices including consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee enthusiasm, morale, and positive attitude
Own recruiting, goal setting, coaching and development of sales representatives
Design and implement a strategic sales plan that retains & expands company's customer base
Establishes sales objectives including monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas for regions
Project expected sales volume forecast and other inputs for S&OP, long-range, and annual planning
Achieve growth and hit sales, profit, and expense targets by successfully managing the sales team
Manage day-to-day activities and performance of all sales team members
Responsible to oversee internal and external sales issues, resolve and report the cause & effect
Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis
Ensure correct usage of CRM and that sales processes are developed and followed properly
Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation and marketing program strategy
Work with product management / marketing to ensure voice of customer is heard as relates to product, pricing, promotion, quality, delivery, and other customer-defined requirements
Oversees and approves strategic discounting where necessary within approved guidelines.
Assist in creation, billing and collection of customer accounts
Identify emerging markets, market drivers, competitive developments and other threats and opportunities
Assist in developing strategic relationships within the DWD, TTC, DW Dealer network, and industry
Attend tradeshows and relevant industry events to promote Radius and develop customer relationships
Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office, shop & jobsite environment
The shop environment includes physical hazards such as powered vehicle and pedestrian traffic, sharp objects, and moving machinery.

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
5+ years of sales or related experience (preferably HDD tooling) ; Sales leadership experience preferred
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field
Strong individual employee, team, and organizational leadership skills
Proven sales track record with a strong commitment to customer support and delivering results
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting including forecasting sales and predicting market trends
Strong communication and negotiating skills with the ability to build rapport
Ability to effectively communicate & collaborate across all levels & divisions of the organization
Exceptional time management, organization, and planning skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, CRM and ERP software; Macola or SAP preferred
Strong commitment to personal development and to the development of others
