THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Manager primarily focuses on managing a team of sales representatives and maintaining a focus on revenue generation through the sale of cannabis products. This role will recruit, train, manage, and monitor the professional growth and sales success of the Sales Representatives.
Recruit, hire, train and coach sales representatives to attain their highest potential
Meet or exceed annual sales goal
Monitor Sales Executives daily, weekly, and monthly activities
Attend appointments weekly with Sales representatives
Manage the work schedules of Inside Sales Staff
Conduct weekly one on one meetings with Sales representatives to review sales activity
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects with our CRM system
Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas, and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
Mentor Sales representatives to become future sales leaders
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, management or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in sales
Cannabis industry experience highly preferred
Proficient at Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
Frequently sitting and standing
Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 50 pounds
Occasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
Must be able to work a flexible schedule; May be requested to work additional time, as business demands require
An environment with moderate to loud noise level
