We are a high-energy and fast-moving startup, and we are excited to hire for this critical role with significant growth potential. The Sales Manager leads and drives our sales strategy and execution at HEST as we continue to scale our business. The role will involve sales, strategy, account management, business development and collaboration with the product and marketing teams. We are an early-stage startup with VC-backing and this role will have strong operational requirements to establish and deploy our sales processes in addition to a steep growth potential as we expand our sales channels and develop new products.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and drive sales strategy and execution
  • Create and manage Sales Budget- including revenues, expenses and margin
  • Lead sales forecasting and reporting
  • Lead retailer sales efforts- driving sales growth through identifying and maximizing opportunities with existing retailers and identifying and securing new retail accounts
  • Partner with operations team on forecasts and factory orders
  • Travel to support sell-through and new channel development

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as inside sales or sales rep
  • Experience managing spreadsheets and developing reports for sales analytics
  • Enthusiasm to work in an evolving and growing startup environment
  • Available and willing to travel to events, trade shows and retailers
  • Passionate about the outdoors and appreciation of the benefits of a better nights sleep
