We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our home comfort team!

This position is based in our Auburn, NH office and will include weekly travel to our Tewksbury, MA location.

About The Role:

As the Sales Manager your primary responsibility is to lead and inspire our team of Home Comfort Specialists in their success as 5-Star home comfort professionals. Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Chief Integration Officer (CIO) to establish the annual sales plan - including sales and marketing strategies

  • Working with the CIO, Install Manager, Service Manager and Home Comfort team to achieve sales goals

  • Assisting the Service Manager with the training of service technicians in how to assess and recommend replacement systems

  • Performing regular ride-alongs to ensure Home Comfort Specialists are properly supported, and to reinforce agreed upon procedures spelled out in the Operations Manuals and in the training the Heritage Way.

  • Coordinating vacation schedules for the Home Comfort Specialists that have them taking time off during our slow season and minimizing loss of coverage during peak seasons

  • Providing a regular rhythm of individual and team meetings for communication, training, accountability, and relationship (daily huddles, weekly team meetings, 1:1 coaching, and fun events)

  • Working with the Install Manager to prepare the agenda for the weekly 5-Star Installation Meeting

  • Working with our Human Resource services to help develop opportunities and pathways for each member's growth and overall well being (soft skills, technical skills, personal growth, etc.)

  • Assisting in the recruitment and orientation of new Home Comfort Specialists

  • Working with Install Manager to verify job costs and profitability -- making adjustments as needed

  • Following up on pending sales

  • Working with the Finance Manager to ensure invoicing and financing are accurate and timely

  • Assisting with questions and challenges while encouraging empowerment and self management

  • Working with Installation Manager and team to quickly resolve client inquiries and concerns

  • Working with the Marketing Manager, Customer Experience Manager, and Home Comfort Lead Coordinator to ensure daily lead count meets/exceeds daily budget


  • Proven track record in sales (in-home sales preferable)

  • Ability to inspire, lead, and coach others to obtain personal and team goals

  • Highly organized with exceptional follow through abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communications

  • Good presentation and public speaking skills

  • Quick, sound decision-making abilities

  • Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy

  • Excel in a people centric, goal-driven environment

  • Willingness to always learn, and follow company procedures

  • Comfortable navigating a tablet/smartphone, apps and business software


  • Starting salary of $125,000-$150,000 based on experience

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility to extend/adjust work-shift when needed. Position also involves attending meetings or events that can be out of state and involve multiple days of travel and time away.
