Exciting Opportunity: Sales Manager (Innovation) - North America

Location: Plymouth, Michigan

Role Mission: Propel Garrett's technological frontier by nurturing our existing clientele and spearheading expansion into Non-Automotive and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) markets. Your focus will be on amplifying interest in our state-of-the-art E-Cooling Compressors, E-Drive Motors, and Fuel Cell Compressors. Collaborate with Garrett's Innovation team to evaluate cutting-edge technologies and strategize their market launch. Join our forward-thinking team and be a pivotal force in shaping the future of sustainable mobility.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and refine a cutting-edge business strategy.

  • Collaborate with Engineering to enhance product offerings and guide future development.

  • Partner with diverse teams to smoothly launch groundbreaking products.

  • Craft win-win customer agreements and drive strategic demand planning.

  • Analyze market trends and legislative impacts to steer our business course.

  • Work closely with senior leadership to report on customer engagement and market strategies.

  • Drive business goals with an eye on expanding our Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) line by 2030.

  • A strategic mind with a deep understanding of emerging technologies is crucial.

  • Challenge the status quo and navigate complex environments across various industries.

  • Your role will be highly visible, influencing our trajectory in ZEV and beyond in North America.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bring at least 5 years of top-tier sales/marketing experience.

  • An Engineering or Business degree, with an MBA as a significant plus.

  • A strong background in product development or engineering.

  • Proven success in commercial roles with engineered products.

  • Exhibit exceptional leadership and customer engagement skills.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

  • Work autonomously and strive for innovation in every task.
