We are an Executive Search Firm on a search looking for a Sales Manager Financial Products and Services.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SALES MANAGER:
Summary/Objective The Sales Manager position will be a critical executive position within the company.
The candidate will be responsible with managing a National B2B sales/relationship management team selling financial products and services to personal injury attorneys and their plaintiff clients.
The candidate will be responsible for managing, motivating and training the sales team, establishing quotas, monitoring performance and maximizing the return associated with client relationships for the organization.
The candidate will be expected to closely monitor and communicate the teams KPI's to the executive team.
The sales team builds and maintains value-added, B2B relationships with personal injury attorneys across the nation utilizing sales prospecting, cold calling, inbound marketing leads, and direct referrals.
The company emphasizes relationship selling techniques, market and client knowledge to communicate the company's value proposition to close transactions.
The company provides financial products to attorneys and their plaintiff clients.
The candidate must act as key liaison between the relationship management team and the underwriting and account management staff in order to quickly assess the viability and value of active pre- and post- litigation personal injury cases.

Actively manage a qualified business development team consistent with the company's strategic initiatives.
Train team in best practices relating to the researching of prospects/customers and make sales contacts.
Train team in relationship-based, consultative sales techniques.
Participate in sales forecasting and planning.
Motivate team to meet all prospecting and sales goals.
Oversee the process of conducting Client Reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with products and services.

Support sales efforts by attending meetings with clients to build extended relationships with existing accounts.
Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.

Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.

Set client relationship targets and KPI's for sales team.

Understand the problems and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could better address those needs.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over sales team and will be expected to serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the company.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m.
An hour is given for lunch every day.
Several times a year you will be expected to take calls over the weekend as well.
