Lewis Bakeries is a family owned and operated company that was started by three brothers in 1925 in Anna, Illinois. Lewis primarily bakes loaf bread, buns and rolls under branded products such as Bunny Bread, Lewis Bake Shop, Healthy Life, as well as other brands. Bakery facilities are located in LaPorte, Ft. Wayne, Vincennes, and Evansville, Indiana, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our heritage has been one of quality and reliability since 1925. We have an opening for a Sales Manager position in the Evansville and Princeton, Indiana marketing area. The desired candidate must be in this area. Position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Essential Functions

• Developing and growing customer relationships within a big box selling environment.

• Providing leadership to a team to achieve sales volume targets.

• Recruiting, training and developing a team of merchandisers to meet customer requirements and expectations, as well as sales targets.

• Providing feedback to management to ensure effective results.

• Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by following company strategies.

• Observing and reporting competitive activity within the territory and recommending solutions to management

• Promoting practices that result in all employees conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have at least three years of sales and management experience in a consumer-packaged goods or direct store delivery environment. A college degree is preferred.
