SALES MANAGER – Edmonton, AB $110K-$130K Base Salary, bonus, incentives,benefits Our client is an award-winning distributor and serves many industries including building materials, construction, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and oil & gas.The Sales Manager has an opportunity to expand the role and enjoy monthly bonuses and quarterly incentives as the company continues to grow the business in Edmonton and north.Responsibilities:
Manage a sales team of 8-10;
Implement marketing initiatives to support branch goals;
Inspire and foster a customer service driven culture with the Inside Sales/Order Desk; and Outside Sales Team to achieve high level customer satisfaction;
Develop rapport and strengthen relationships with customers;
Liaise with Branch Manager and Purchasing Manager to effectively manage inventory;
Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage goals, systems, business plans and operating budgets;
Evaluate, and monitor sales activity and provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Sales Team;
Work with internal departments to ensure orders, deadlines, and profitability are on target.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing, preferred
Minimum 5 years sales leadership experience
Exceptional communication skills with ability to mentor, coach and lead a team
Strong analytical, time management, organizational and performance management skills
MS Office and CRM intermediate level
