Our client specializes in providing value products in the field of fiber optics, in particular, fiber optic components and modules such as Switches, DWDMs, CWDMs, Isolators, Hybrid, Couplers/WDMs, Attenuators, Collimators, Pigtails, and other related products. In addition, they offer custom-made optical components such as lenses, prisms, mirrors, achromats and cylindrical lenses.

Role Summary

Sales Representatives drive the adoption of our clients technology into new and existing clients while leveraging Partners, Professional Services, and Customer Success resources as needed. Come be part of a start-up where your ability to break new account abound. You will report directly into VP of Sales and be part of small sales team with tremendous opportunity. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA with some travel.

Essential Job Functions

  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound prospecting and cultivating partner relationships.
  • Executing online and in-person product demos and clearly articulating the value add of the products within their internal solutions conversations.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, and building strategic business relationships.
  • Owning and growing a territory by closing sales and achieving aggressive quarterly quotas directly and via channel partners
  • Focused consultative selling with a long-term view and approach into Commercial companies.
  • Thinking beyond the initial sale and renewal to expansion, and driving adoption of the technology and products.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to client leaders and aggressively shaping deals early in the sales cycle and advancing opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth for the company.
  • Clearly selling and articulating the value add of the companys products within their internal solutions conversations.
  • Understanding that the product is a solution and sharing and tying it together that their solution can address a problem that perhaps they, the customer, were not aware of yet.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BA/BS degree, and 10+ years of prior experience driving and managing inside sales for a fiberoptics, broadband, or optical networking company.
  • Consistent and proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Comfortable with high-end exposure to C-level executives, and the ability to build strong trusted relationships.
  • High level of business acumen with well-polished strategic, relationship, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and prioritize strategic target account lists and defined territories, and work alongside marketing and channel partners to develop and execute account plans.
  • Detail oriented and analytical with a high clock speed with an ability to thrive in a high growth startup and juggle many balls at one time.

You will be responsible for designing, planning, organizing, and developing training materials, resources, and events in support of NVIDIA's Technical Enablement efforts. Based out of our Santa Clara headquarters, this role reports directly to the Director of Global Sales Enablement and plays a key role within NVIDIA's Sales Enablement team. In this role, you will partner closely with our Enterprise Technical, Product and Sales teams. You will ensure that our field organization and partner ecosystem have the knowledge and skills for effective pre-sales, and its service partners can successfully support our Enterprise products. You will use those cross-functional relationships to actively support the field and partner channels with effective product and technical education, industry training and competitive differentiation. What you'll be doing: * Support Technical Enablement strategy & process for Enterprise products —program management, documentation, curriculum, goals, execution, process improvements * Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements * Produce training schedules and classroom agenda * Define course content according to objectives * Work with internal teams to create and package high-value, easy-to-use field tools (technical guides, training decks, demos, etc). * Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually * Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed * Keep and report data on completed courses, issues etc. * Observe and evaluate results of training programs * Assess overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements * Utilize instructional design experience to create impactful student and instructor materials (presentations, course outlines, background material, instructional materials, exercises, training aids, quizzes and assessments). * Collect feedback from partner community and internal field org on effectiveness of tools and continuously work to improve quality of content, format, and delivery worldwide. What we need to see: * 7-10 years of technical marketing, field engineering, training, sales enablement, or related field experience * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment and quickly learn new concepts * Direct experience in technical training and instructional design * A history of success planning and leading complex, cross-functional projects * Excellent creative skills with confirmed ability to craft compelling training and resources * Ability to visually translate technology features and concepts into clear benefits * Experience with training and content delivery tools such as Powerpoint and Brainshark * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong social skills; someone who leads by inspiring; enjoys working with others in a collaborative, social environment; effective at building and maintaining strong relationships. * Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product; acute attention to detail * Self-motivated, with ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multi-tasking and prioritizing across a number of projects and initiatives * A dual-minded approach: highly creative and excellent at developing field resources, while also process-driven, relying on facts and data to make decisions * BS, or equivalent work experience.
