Requirements to be a Sales Manager

Brookdale Sales Managers maintain and improve upon occupancy levels of communities in accordance with marketing and business plans. Sales managers utilize established sales processes and systems to perform job duties, track information, compile data and achieve desired community occupancy goals. The sales process is managed by assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about the community's services and programs. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related filed preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education required.

NewcrestImage is a premier company in the hospitality space that designs, builds and operates state-of-the-art hotels for the most renowned brands in the industry. We are currently looking for a phenomenal Sales Leader to be a part of our already dynamic team. This person will be responsible for the overall revenue generation for the hotel. In terms of key responsibilities, first and foremost and just like every other position within our company, this role will advance NewcrestImage's core values of People come First, Communication is Knowledge, Giving is Fun, Experiences are Memorable and Response-Ability is Ours. While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be "hands-on." This leader in the hotel will be responsible for implementing a strong sales and marketing plan. The primary goal will be to achieve Revenue and RevPAR targets for all business segments. Additionally this leader will provide exceptional service to each client, guest, and associate within the hotel. * A more elaborate description of the details will be available during the interview process. * Achieve Revenue and RevPAR targets for all business segments including personal booking goals. * Follow all Sales standard operating procedures and ensure the maintenance of accurate and updated account files and follow-up procedures. * Ensure follow up on all sales leads in a timely manner and are recorded properly in the sales tool in accordance with company policy. * Identify and analyze competition, both locally and regionally. * Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community by attending impactful association meetings as well as other pertinent community activities, including trade shows and promoted events. * Develop strategic relationships with third-party providers and business clients. * Provide sales call reports to the General Manager and the Area Director as required. * Negotiate rates and promotions. Prepare and present agreements for execution with clients. * Manage relationships with decision makers at top accounts. * Maintain awareness of market situation and its impact on the hotel and anticipate business needs with flexible planning.
