Are you ready to join a collaborative, results-focused team that enjoys helping businesses accomplish their goals? In this role, you'll report to the Sr. Director of Sales, and primarily responsible for growing company revenue through management of account management teams.

Working closely with the Senior Director of Sales, this role will execute on sales strategy, implement our sales process, focus on sales productivity, invest in sales talent development, and build team culture. Partnering with product, marketing, and senior sales management, this sales manager will be responsible for removing barriers and assisting the team to meet all new sales quotas and objectives. The ideal candidate must be highly collaborative, process-driven, and results-focused while inspiring a team.

About the Role:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, manage, and mentor account managers; helping to maximize their potential, professional growth, and account management activities.

  • Partner with management to document and improve our sales processes.

  • Analytics including forecasting, reporting, and KPI management.

Coach all team members on:

  • Identify topics and partner with the marketing, product, or customer success teams to plan product education, and competitive training sessions, and create expansion programs for your direct team and the sales group as a whole.

  • Listen carefully to prospects and clients to provide market feedback to the Product team and help prioritize functionality needed to drive sales opportunities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has supervisory responsibilities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Schedule/Environment/Travel:

  • This can be a work-from-home-based role in any of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, and Washington.

  • We offer a flexible work schedule.

  • Employees can also work from our Tampa, FL, Office if they wish.

  • 25% or more of Travel.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Business Administration, Sales, or related field; 3 plus years of sales leadership experience required, or a combination of education and experience.

  • 3 plus years of experience in sales management either leading account management teams or sales development teams. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving business needs.

  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and action-oriented.

  • High energy and competitive spirit driven to work collaboratively and be a top performer.

  • Ability to recruit, train, and scale against aggressive growth targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales results using a CRM tool, such as Salesforce.

  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.

  • Working in a Sales Leadership capacity for a technology company is preferred.
