Responsibilities The responsibilities described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Perform pre-employment unit (PEU) processing to onboard new hires. Duties such as database entries and updating, sending and tracking tentative job offers, initiating background investigation and drug test, monitoring security clearance process, and complete entrance on duty action. Serve as front line customer service representative; maintain customer service e-mail inbox and telephone line. Answer routine questions and refer technical questions to an HR Specialist. Research applicable laws, regulations, policies and/or procedures to support customer responses. Provide clerical, technical and administrative support to Human Resources Specialists. This will include, scanning, filing, copying, and sending automated e-mail to applicants. Provide feedback to RPB colleagues and leadership relative to recurring/systemic customer service issues and propose solutions to improve overall RPB customer service delivery. Research applicable laws, regulations, policies and/or procedures to support customer responses. Create job opportunity announcements using standard practices and templates.
