Zions Wealth Management is a specialized division within the bank that offers comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services include personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The primary goal of a wealth management group is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives. Wealth Management is a strategic focus and growth opportunity for the Zions Bancorporation, an organization that expands across eight affiliate banks in the Western United States.

We are currently in search of a dedicated Sales Leader to head our Centralized Wealth Advisor Team in Salt Lake City, UT marketplace.

As the Sales Leader of our Centralized Wealth Advisor Team, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of wealth advisors who serve the Bank's mass affluent clients. Your primary goal will be to drive team performance, enhance client satisfaction, and achieve business targets. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies that align with our company's visions of providing outstanding wealth management services.

Primary responsibilities will include motivating a team of wealth advisors to exceed sales targets and deliver high-quality client service, develop, and implement effective sales strategies to attract, retain and expand relationships with mass affluent clients, monitor team performance by providing continuous feedback, coaching, and training to enhance skills, and collaborate with senior management to align the team's activities with overall company objectives.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan that is guided by sales and service metrics to measure accountability and success.

• Champion a recognition and campaign strategy with retail bank centers across all affiliates.

• Foster a culture of excellence, ethics, and professionalism within the team.

• Manage key client relationships, acting as a point of escalation for complex client issues or needs.

• Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive client experience.

• Provide continuous training and maintain strong relationships with senior retail bank leaders in California, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada to generate leads and facilitate introductions of clients and/or prospects.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the service to clients and provide recommendations for operational improvements as needed.

• Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios and team performance metrics to identify areas for improvements and growth opportunities.

• Analyze market trends and client needs to inform strategic decisions and service offerings.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (i.e., CFP, CFA) preferred

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in wealth management or financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

• Active Series 7, 63/65 (or 66), 24 and Life and Health Insurance license

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful teams

• Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and the needs of mass affluent clients

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships and generate business through networking

• High ethical standards and professionalism

• Willingness to travel frequently to bank retail locations across CA, UT, CO, TX, AZ, and NV
