Sales - Latin America Internship

What you can expect:

We are looking for proactive interns to join the Sales- Latin America team of the U.S. corporate office in New York at the beginning of March 2019, for at least 6 months. As an Intern in our Sales- Latin America Department you will prepare sales tools for market season such as swatches and spreadsheets assist in setting up the showroom with the collection samples, conduct launches, as well as assist in the process of presenting and selling the upcoming collection with Account Executives.

Interns in the Sales Latin America Department are expected to interact in Spanish with our major clients in Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean. The internship is unpaid. HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. is an Equal Employment/Affirmative Employer (M/F/D/V).

  • Order Entry

  • Send out order confirmations by the end of the sales season.

  • Preparing sales tools for market season (spreadsheets, swatches, samples etc.)

  • Setting up the showroom with the collection samples

  • Support by maintaining the showroom in order

  • Conduct the launch and the process of presenting and selling the upcoming collection with Account Executives

  • Interacting with major clients from Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean

  • Support the launch of collections

  • Maintaining client data base and order information

  • Conduct research of specific markets in order to support the business development

Your profile:

  • Highly motivated and strong interest in Fashion & Sales to accomplish the goals of the department

  • To possess solid, oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish

  • Excellent initiative

Functions Responsibilities:   The Analyst / Associate in the BBVA LatAm Debt Capital Markets group will work closely with the members of the team to help prepare all the marketing materials for the structuring, origination and execution of international bond issues for clients throughout LatAm with focus on Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Argentina.  Clients include corporates, banks, agencies and governments.   The primary activities performed by the Analyst / Associate will include:   * Support the team members in preparing presentations, pitchbooks and proposals for clients * Gather and process market information including bonds secondary pricing and new issue information for use in client presentations * Assist the team in the execution of all aspects of international bond transactions including coordinating conference calls, preparing working group lists, preparing marketing materials and proposals, preparing market updates, preparing deal reviews, assisting in the documentation and due diligence processes, carrying out the relevant internal processes and assisting in roadshow coordination and logistics * Analyze and compare financing alternatives for clients in various currencies such as USD, EUR and various Latin American local currencies * Help the team build company cash flow models * Help the team build sovereign liability management models * Analyze the credit and financial conditions of corporate clients and compare to their global industry peers * Assisting in the preparation of indicative pricing and in the analysis of liability management transactions * Collaborate with local and international related third parties such as lawyers, rating agencies and auditors during the execution stages of all bond issues * Carrying out industry and company specific analysis in connection with corporate client financing proposals * Interact with clients on specific assignments/tasks (examples include preparation of a roadshow presentation, and information requests)   Requirements for Analyst Position:   * A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science or Math from an accredited institution is a must * Complete fluency in Spanish and English with the ability to easily communicate in both languages both verbally and in writing * 1+ years of professional work experience in capital markets is preferred but not required * Very thorough individual with a strong attention to detail * Very strong work ethic * Very dedicated individual with a positive attitude * Strong team player * Resourceful, self-starter and a highly motivated individual * Basic knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and credit analysis * Basic knowledge of capital markets and macroeconomic concepts * Highly skilled with PowerPoint, Excel and Word * Bond math and proficiency using Bloomberg is a plus for this position * US Citizenship or Legal Authorization to work in the United States   Requirements for Associate Position:   * A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science or Math from an accredited institution is a must * An MBA is a plus * Complete fluency in Spanish and English with the ability to easily communicate in both languages both verbally and in writing * 3+ years of professional work experience in capital markets or related is required * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Very thorough individual with a strong attention to detail * Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills * Very strong work ethic * Very dedicated individual with a positive attitude * Strong team player * Resourceful, self-starter and a highly motivated individual * High knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, credit analysis and bond math * Robust knowledge of capital markets and macroeconomic concepts * Highly skilled with PowerPoint, Excel and Word * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Experience analyzing financial statements, legal documents and related industry information * Experience using Bloomberg * Strong financial modeling skills * Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to develop and foster relationships with clients, senior bankers and other industry professionals * US Citizenship or Legal Authorization to work in the United States Bbva New York City NY
