Ensure that all locations are efficient and all sales/reservations are made in a professional and friendly manner. Focus on consistent quality guest service throughout all transactions promoting seamless delivery of products from purchase through fulfillment. Master all Loon Mountain's products, services, promotions, etc. in order to provide consistent information to all guests and employees. Actively contribute to a safe and clean environment for all guests throughout Loon Mountain Resort. Provide quality customer service and act with accountability. Responsibilities * Oversees the daily operation of the Ticket Department (and periodically Central Reservations Department). In the summer run/manage daily summer season departmental operations. Have the ability to delegate responsibility, motivate, and lead direct reports to achieve goals and objectives. * Master all product lines and fully understand sales processes & fulfillment details. Responsible for the administration (creation and development of RTP products, product addition, modification and annual calendar update). Knowledge of all POS operations and the daily close process. * Master the use of varied POS modules; Handle and account for all money and maintain accurate records for every employee in department. Master payroll administrative system and use the system daily and also responsible for the creation and maintaining departmental operating plan. * Participate in staff selection. Train staff on all resort products, computer systems, sales processes & fulfillment details, and guest service standards set by Loon Mountain under the supervision of the Ticket/Reservations Manager. Set an example and expectations for the staff. * Manage Season Pass Rollover Requests as well as oversee Season Pass Seasonal Locker Room program including creation of guest correspondence, annual pricing and Locker Room policies. Responsible for ordering and maintaining summer and winter stock inventories as well as overseeing the security of those inventories. * Answer phone calls, emails, and messages; solve problems for guests (internal [staff] and external) and relay messages. Answer general e-mail inquiries directed generally from the web sites. * Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions. Directly supervise sales staff at Snowsports Desks and Ticket Office mainly (and periodically Central Reservations). Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Loon Mountain policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications To To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
