Job Description:

Summary of Position

  • Responsible for assisting with the complete operations of assigned store, in conjunction with assigned tasks and duties.

  • Assist in the merchandising of the store.

  • Fully cross-trained to assist with cash register operations, customer service and stock replenishment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle all sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.

  • Maintains security of all cash.

  • Protects all company assets.

  • Maintains a high level of good customer service.

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly, cooperative attitude with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

  • Receives merchandise.

  • Assist with unloading trucks.

  • Works in a safe manner.

  • Adheres to and upholds policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • General math skills to allow for cash accounting.

  • Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers.

  • High level of integrity and honesty; will be responsible for handling cash.

Posting Address 501 West Apple Street Freeburg, IL 62243 Position Overview Perform production work as assembler, packer, spot welder, welder and/or painter. Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Functions: * Must be able to read and understand blue prints and routings and produce parts from the information obtained from them to the required tolerances. * Responsible for the quality of the parts produced. * Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. * Maintain simple reports or productivity, quality and safety. * Knowledge of grind welds using grinder wheel/belt sanders. * Knowledge of grinds using Buffer wheel. * Knowledge changes sand belts. Use air grinder to grind larger boxes. Use reciprocal sander to remove scratches from boxes. Change grinder discs. * Work as a floater with grinding, assembly, and cleaning stainless steel boxes. Skills and Experience BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ROLE: * Poses and able to use inspections equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of their job. * Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing, bending and lifting up to 20 lbs. frequently and 40 – 60 lbs. occasionally. * Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. * Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machine and inspect parts. * Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. * Must be able to pass the respiratory test per OSHA requirement * Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours days.
