Sales Finance provides insight into Twitter's business using financial models built on strong relationships. We engage directly with both senior management and front-line sales to understand the drivers of Twitter's revenue and how to optimize that revenue.
In this position, you will provide financial support and tools to company leadership that are critical to Twitter's long-term growth. In particular, the role will focus on two key emerging segments -- SMB, Twitter's Small and Medium Business advertisers, and MoPub, Twitter's monetization platform for mobile publishers. You will have the the unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of the ad tech ecosystem from several different angles while developing deep technical expertise and solving challenging problems as part of a dynamic team.
What You'll Do:
Build models to analyze complex and sometimes ambiguous business issues: revenue forecasting, market sizing, compensation structures, product launches
Work closely with Sales/Product management to create revenue growth plans and to determine optimal resource allocation
Work with key stakeholders to create, draft, and communicate policies to facilitate smoother operations and improve decision making
Work with large data sets, synthesize insights, and present recommendations to executives
Design and implement reporting tools for your business partners
Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data
Streamline processes and increase bandwidth within the Sales Finance team through automation and outsourcing
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
A minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in investment banking, investment management, management consulting, FP&A or in the internet industry
Superior Excel/Google docs and financial modeling skills. Familiarity with basic accounting concepts is a plus
Experience manipulating complex and large data sets (knowledge of, and/ or willingness and ability to learn, SQL, Tableau, R, etc.)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Possess a demonstrable grasp of Twitter, mobile (i.e., device and carrier markets), web and media markets
