Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing and leading a team of business development associates and business development executives.

The primary responsibility of our Sales Executive Team is to create awareness for our full office offering, present and network to key stakeholders, and gain VARIDESK Fans while simplifying the furniture purchasing process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Call on end users, A&D, and CRE within your assigned territory to sell, promote, and create awareness of the VARIDESK brand.

  • Meet provided sales targets

  • Serve as an expert and a showroom tour guide in local market

  • Onsite product maintenance/support as required

  • Cold calling to generate contacts and leads

  • Contact data base maintenance

  • Working in a team atmosphere with inside Business Development and Account Executive reps that are in Coppell, TX.

  • Preparing price quotations and bid packages

  • Weekly Reporting of Activity

  • Attending trade and industry shows

  • Networking and contract strategy


  • 5+ years of outside sales or equivalent

  • Experience in the Furniture Industry Required

  • Fast-paced work environment with simultaneous projects and challenging deadlines

  • Strong ability to Multitask and Prioritize.

  • Great communicator and comfortable Presenting to an audience.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability to work independently

(Concur) * Timekeeping duties for leaders (Kronos). * Submits invoices for payment through OnBase system to include ensuring adequate accounting for charges and approvals. * May need to create, produce and maintain department or group calendars, organizational charts and schedule meeting rooms. * File and follow up on expense reports and reimbursements. Know travel policy. * Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - This position requires the following minimum requirements: * Ability to plan, organize and demonstrate effective time management. * Ability to quickly learn additional tools/systems for use in role. * Ability to prioritize and multitask to perform a variety of duties when necessary. * Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization via phone, in person or in email correspondence. * Ability to keep confidences and maintain confidentiality. * Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. * Competent skills in using Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and communicating. * Competent skills in making travel arrangements through travel agency or through corporate travel system. * Competent or expert skills for producing correspondence through Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Excel. * Basic skills in other office systems which may include OnBase, Concur, Upside, PAWS, Kronos, etc. * Ability to work closely as a team with colleagues.
