Experienced sales professional with proven success in Logistics market. Target industries include Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E), Retail, Restaurants, Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics. Van line 'blanket-wrap' moving experience a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consultative selling resulting in providing strategic solutions for customers
Developing business both domestically and internationally
Research, develop and present a market strategy
Develop prospect profiles and thoroughly qualify prospects with a focus on targets whom will most benefit from service offering
Identify prospect needs, goals and objectives
Participate in related industry groups and affiliations
Utilize CRM application to document the sales process
Produce results commensurate with goals and market potential
Travel as needed, domestically and internationally, to meet with potential and existing customers; participate in face-to-face sales calls/meetings and negotiation process
Job Skills Required
Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting, consultative relationships with clients through excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience selling global logistics services required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must have experience with social networking and utilizing a CRM database.
