We are looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our global supply team, where you will help us grow our selection of things to do by adding more suppliers and products to our portfolio.

TripAdvisor Experiences offers a simple platform that allows tour, activity, and attraction suppliers the opportunity to distribute their products to nearly half a billion online consumers on TripAdvisor, Viator, and our extensive network of partner sites. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling our distribution platform to high value suppliers in your assigned region. You will make outbound calls to designated prospects, engage in a consultative sales approach, demonstrate our business value, and, ultimately, subscribe new suppliers to the platform. The ideal candidate will have strong sales DNA, and will be results-driven, execution-focused, and customer-oriented

This role requires excellent sales and communications skills, effective relationship-building talents, and a proven track record of exceeding monthly targets with experience in outside sales, telesales, new customer acquisition and/or business development, preferably with an online or travel company. You must be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.   • Manage designated pipeline and make outbound calls

  • Facilitate negotiation of terms, including rates and margins, to close new business

  • Consultatively position our distribution platform and value proposition

  • Engage with prospective customers appropriately to their needs

  • Modify customer engagement to overcome objections and identify solutions to roadblocks

  • Effectively and professionally represent our brand and our platform

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and/or quarterly sales targets

  • Collaborate with sales operations, supplier support, and account management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle

  • Exhibit determination and resilience in the face of obstacles or challenges

  • Engage with destination marketing organizations and other trade groups to win customers

  • Up to 50% travel to meet with assigned targets, plus travel to attend trade events, participate in regional speaking engagements, attend internal team meetings, as needed

Key Skills & Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably with an online company

  • Travel industry experience preferred, particularly with tours, activities, or attractions

  • Strong phone sales, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Proven record of contracting new business and regularly exceeding sales targets

  • Territory and pipeline management experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool

  • Superb written and oral communication skills in English and native Spanish

  • Results-driven hunter mentality with relentless drive to sign up new customers

  • Proven self-starter with ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision

  • Confident and energetic; flexible and adaptable; organized and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Bachelor's Degree

POSITION SUMMARY: In this position, you will have full responsibility and complete ownership for driving sales of the full portfolio within assigned accounts (children's hospitals, pediatric prescribers, pediatric homecare (HC)) with primary focus on selling pediatric products in accordance with the US Pediatric Strategy and annual Pediatric Sales Plan. The role is responsible for growing business relationships with key decision makers and influencers. You will strategically manage a focused detailing to specific targets with a carefully defined messaging strategy and call sequence, leveraging business and value solutions based on evidence, and outcome data, supporting the pediatric platform and strategy for NHSc. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Focus on driving growth among pediatric target specialists and new accounts. Meets/exceeds sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts. Set specific growth plans within assigned accounts utilizing CRM tools, territory information, and routing plans. * Meets/exceeds required in-patient pediatric prescriber call activity within accounts, as well as out-patient pediatric prescriber call activity within the community of the assigned geography, effectively driving pediatric platform sales. * Contribute to meeting/exceeding national pediatric sales and profit objectives for all channels. * Create and drive relationships within targeted accounts including higher level stakeholders in order to gain buy-in for pediatric products within targeted accounts. Demonstrate an increased focus on the Hospitalists, Transition of Care departments, and Discharge Planners in specialty area. * Implement Protocols and Pathways for Nutrition for the pediatric specialty area. * Be a leader amongst the sales organization in pediatric clinical knowledge as it pertains to Nestlé products, competitive products, the pediatric market, and latest in pediatric nutrition research. * Regularly shares pediatric sales best practices with the broader sales organization. * Cultivates and leverages long term customer relationships including senior level relationships. Builds network of key advocates within assigned accounts, including committee personnel and system advocates for Nestle. Attends key events which local pediatric nutrition leaders also attend. * Understand the pediatric healthcare environment and appropriately execute the selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional and persuasive; and which addresses a need and leads the customer to action. * Demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. * Assist in planning and execution of Pediatric Strategy & Action Plans developed by the Assoc. Director, Specialty Area Sales. * Utilize the sales reporting systems on a regular basis for call preparation, to record and track sales activity and to gather market intelligence data. * Organize meetings and deliver content to health care professionals on the topic of pediatric nutrition aligned with tangible account objects and metrics as defined by the customer. * Participate in NHSc offered training and in strategic medical conventions and exhibits as needed to expand product, market and science knowledge particularly in pediatrics. * Pediatric focused detailing to top pediatric prescribers to drive homecare and retail sales. * Up to 25% travel required with some overnight travel. KEY RELATIONSHIPS: You will strategically build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders at assigned Pediatric accounts, including Dietary, Nursing, Physicians, Materials Management, nutrition related task forces and committees, and Distributor partners. Also, top pediatric enteral formula prescribers in community (i.e. Pediatricians, Pediatric Gastroenterologists) along with large homecare accounts that are predominantly pediatrics. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a Medical Science type field is required. MBA preferred * 5 years medical/clinical selling experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated success in specialty medical products OR 5 years combined experience in sales with demonstrated success and clinical experience * Bi or Multi-lingual communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish speaking employees strongly preferred * Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets * Experience developing and implementing protocols or clinical pathways that have successfully been adopted by customers * Strong business/financial acumen and negotiation skills * Ability to demonstrate strategic planning skills as it relates to identification and management of opportunities * Ability to develop solid and long-standing business relationships with strategic/targeted customers * Ability to adapt well within rapidly changing work and industry environments.
