Sales Executive

We are looking for

A Sales Professional capable of building & maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to retain existing maintenance contracts and win more from existing customers. Being successful in the role requires ability to balance short term actions like selling simple repair work, and strategic and more long-term business development.

Please note: Sales title (e.g., Sales representative/consultant/executive) will be assigned commensurate with experience and business need.

Responsibilities

  • Individual sales planning & sales funnel management

  • Customer relationship management to retain & grow business with existing customers and to drive customer satisfaction by identifying their needs

  • Meet/exceed annual budget on orders from quoted repairs and upgrades to existing equipment; new maintenance sales through new equipment conversions

  • General understanding of contract terms and/or language and can present said terms

  • Create a solid sales pipeline; be able to use it for sales forecast accuracy

  • Selling value and differentiating KONE products and services to qualified leads

  • Assist/take action where needed; national account requests, mentoring new reps (experience pending), trade shows, visiting customer sites, etc.

  • Record account/customer activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g., Salesforce)

Skills, education and experience

  • Drive to win & positive can-do attitude

  • Ability to build customer relationships: Outstanding interpersonal & communications skills

  • Customer focus, ability to understand customer needs & propose solutions that meet them

  • Ability to work effectively in team environment; collaboration with peers and colleagues; as well as being capable to effectively work independently

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Quick Notes highly preferred

  • Business acumen to ensure sustainable revenue & profitability growth

  • Analytical ability and business acumen to analyze & prioritize opportunities

  • Comprehensive understanding of sales funnel management & customer relationship management tools

  • Mindset of continuous improvement; behavior characterized by the highest ethical standards

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of work experience

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales

  • Experience: Construction or industrial equipment service sales highly preferred

In this role, the Corporate Account Executive will: * Retain and grow revenue with existing customers * Identify and develop new business opportunities. Summary of Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by CEVA and actively participate in product training sessions. * Interact regularly with Station Manager and Ops Managers, and develop close and cooperative working relationship with operational staff to ensure the customer's needs are met * Schedule and conduct a pre-determined number of face-to-face sales calls as directed by the Regional Sales Manager or Station Manager * Input sales call information into CEVA-I, or other designated sales call software provided by the company and/or provide sales reports as directed by Regional Sales Manager or Station Manager * Maintain a pre-determined number of target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing * Meet sales threshold/quota as defined by company * Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment * Perform responsibilities in accordance with the terms of the Sales Performance Policy, Commission Model, and Acknowledgement Form Education, Experience, and Certifications: * High School Degree or GED required with a Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of work experience and education * Minimum five (5) years' related in sales * Minimum three (3) years' industry experience Additional Skills and Experience that Contribute to Success: * Proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth and retaining existing customers * Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds * Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and recommend solutions to common problems * Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Certifications and Licenses * Valid state issued driver's license * Acceptable driving record * Proof of current automobile insurance CEVA operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
