Cvent's Enterprise Sales Team is growing and is seeking Sales Executives to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and close new logos. You will carry a new-booked business quota, and will be required to demonstrate solution-selling skills. Additional responsibilities include effective management of your Sales Development Representative to ensure prospects turn into actual customers, as well as collaboration with Account Managers to expand existing accounts.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts by creating individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts

  • Call on and develop relationships with new prospects in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations

  • Present products and services to Enterprise Accounts

  • Exceed established new business revenue targets for software sales

  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report

  • Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities

  • Monitor and report sales activity within the system

  • Work with Account Management and Client Services teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the Cvent product and organization

  • Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 2 years of prior revenue generating software sales experience (more experience is desired)

  • Industry experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, mobile apps, and analytics

  • Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment

  • Able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function

  • Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives

  • Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity

About the role: Blackbaud is looking for Account Executives to join the team and support our Financial Management software solutions. As a key member of the Blackbaud Sales Team, the Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new prospects and penetrating existing customers within an assigned territory. The Account Executive must be able to navigate through complex organizations positioning Blackbaud's software, services and training as a purpose-built enterprise solution. The Account Executive must also work collaboratively with other partners in our larger sales engagements to provide a total integrated solution. What you'll be doing: * Managing sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives. * Providing tactical and strategic plans with specific measurable time frames to penetrate an account. * Collaborate with Client Success Managers (i.e. Account Managers) to generate additional revenue from existing client base. * Prospect (cold calling, following up on leads, completing RFP's etc.) into new accounts to establish relationships. * Executing aggressively on the plan to position Blackbaud as solution of choice. * Becoming a "trusted business advisor" and establish Executive relationships at senior levels within client accounts. * Differentiating Blackbaud's solution by positioning professional services. * Provide and or coordinate appropriate resources such as online demonstrations and proposals when needed to educate clients and advance sales cycles. * Build and maintain an accurate pipeline and timely sales forecasts to management. * Identifying internal teams, providing direction and leadership in each sales engagement. * Develop a deep understanding of customer industry trends. What we'll want you to have: * 5+ years of experience in positioning and selling financial and/or accounting software solutions * Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology. * Experience selling/navigating a complex sale. * Strong focus on acquiring new business while continuing to cultivate existing account relationships. * A proven track record of consistent over quota achievement within a software vendor. * Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. * Approximately 30% - 50% travel is required. * Nonprofit industry experience is also a plus Why you'll want to come work here: * Our benefits are unmatched.
