About the Job

Asure Consulting Inc. has an immediate search for a HR Sales Executive in the greater Los Angeles market. This person will be responsible for sales and business development in the assigned area.\u00A0


  • Selling Asure Consulting HRaaS solution offerings to small and mid-market companies.

  • Conducts presentation and proposal meetings with prospective companies.

  • Attends networking events as necessary to promote Asure Consulting\u2019s HRaaS solution offerings.

  • Nurtures relationships with Strategic Partners and others in order to secure referrals to new prospects.

  • Prepares sales proposals and contracts.

  • Maintains and updates CRM sales files.

  • Fosters interest among the rest of the Asure Consulting\u2019s staff in the sales process.

  • Maintains good relationships with all Asure Consulting employees.

  • Conducts new client debriefs with Asure Consulting team.

  • Assists in making the transition of the client relationship to the internal CSG, FSG and Recruitment teams.

  • Prepares and submits weekly sales activity and forecast reports to the VP & General Mgr.



About You


  • Bachelor\u2019s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and significant Human Resources generalist experience (typically three or more years of experience) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\u00A0 Must be knowledgeable in employment laws and generally accepted human resources practices.

  • Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR or SPHR) or other personnel or EE benefits certification desired.

  • Exhibit initiative, good judgment, and tenacity in the sales process.

  • Must be extremely self-motivated and self-disciplined.

  • Professional manner required in appearance, speech, and presentation of self-developed material.

  • Must exhibit confidence in skill and knowledge in the HR Personnel area.

  • Exhibit strong intrapersonal skills.\u00A0 Must be extremely skilful in dealing with people and able to effectively present information and communicate with all levels of individuals.\u00A0

  • Ability to work remotely, autonomously and exercise independent judgment and discretion.

  • Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and multi task job duties.

  • Exercise a great deal of independent judgment and discretion.

  • Must have the ability to maintain highly confidential information received from clients and Asure Consulting.

  • Exceptional computer skills (MS Office and Gmail, etc.\u00A0 CRM experience required.

  • Experience required using social media in sales and understanding of SEO sales campaign marketing

Reporting to the Dir Sales this individual will drive new sales growth within the designated channel. Operating as part of a highly driven, high performing team, our Sales Executives are responsible for selling's Avalara sales tax compliance solutions and working with our partners to promote and increase sales to their customers. Avalara helps make sales tax compliance simple and automatic for businesses of all sizes and our sales team is passionate about our mission to help businesses achieve compliance by delivering comprehensive, automated, cloud-based solutions that are fast, accurate, and easy to use. Responsibilities: * Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships. * Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close. * Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Avalara's solutions and offerings. * Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position. * Use effective time management to maximize results. * Develop and maintain relationships with Avalara partners and other third parties to increase opportunities. * Document daily sales activities in sales force automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management. * Be an active team player both on the sales team and throughout Avalara to help meet company objectives. * Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, competitive, etc. matters. * Interact constructively with internal colleagues and departments within Avalara.
