TruBlue of North Pittsburgh is a house repair and home services company dedicated to providing value and peace of mind to our customers. For the last four years, our mission is to help people maintain the safety and value of their homes through home repairs, minor construction, assessments and regular scheduled maintenance. We are a CAPS certified service provider for the relatively new "Age in Place" sector, modifying Senior's homes so they can postpone moving to a senior care facility.
We are searching for a reliable Sales Estimator to provide general home service estimates to our customers in our community. The candidate will also coordinate with our Lead Technician and office staff regarding job scheduling, progress, material ordering, and changes. If you have 10 or more years of paid experience in general home repair and handyman work, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for candidates with in-depth knowledge of repair and installation methods including the amount of time required to complete the job. We require experience in the following areas:
Drywall Repair / Patching / Caulking
Painting Interior and Exterior
Grab Bar Installation
Flooring Repair and Installation
General Home Repairs and Handyman Work
Door and Window Installation and Repair
Kitchen/Bathroom Repair - (Remodel a Plus)
Minor Plumbing and Minor Electrical
Tile Experience a Plus
Exterior Repairs (Retaining walls, fences, gates, etc.)
Other Small Repairs and Projects Around the Home
Additionally, the appropriate candidate for the Sales Estimator/Manager position will also:
Conduct on-site visits to clients as necessary. The candidate will need to understand the clients needs and formulate a solution for the short and long term. Building lasting relationships with our clients is key.
Need to fully understand how long the job will take, and how to communicate the information to the homeowner and other technicians.
Build and maintain relationships with our strategic partner clientele.
Solicit and acquire new clients and partnerships over time.
Maintain profitability with each job and minimize material waste.
In addition to the required trade and sales skills, the candidate must also:
Be organized and prepared for each day
Have superior problem solving skills
Have working knowledge of software programs like Microsoft Office, House Call Pro, social media platforms, and email.
Be able to use a tablet or computer as a sales tool when necessary
Believe in the company we are building and do what is necessary to maintain the quality of the brand.
Qualified candidates will need a driver's license in good standing, tools for estimating, (Calculator, tape measure, laser tape, etc.,) and a smart phone. Although rare, the candidate should be able to climb a step-ladder if necessary. Candidate must also pass a background check, be a legal citizen of the US, and speak fluent English.
