Position Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for designing and implementing solid and impactful solutions for our customers. The Sales Engineer is an integral part of the sales organization and is positioned to support the sales team by identifying opportunities to leverage our products and services to increase revenue and provide a successful customer experience.This position will benefit from an annual salary plus monthly commissions based on market quota attainment.What you will be doing:
  • Meet with prospects to identify network needs, provide technical consultation and help to design solutions/proposals to address the need.
  • Present to C-Level and Technical prospects with in-depth descriptions of design to include White-boarding, Visio Review, and Product Demos (SD-WAN, Firewall, Hosted Voice, Cloud Solutions).
  • Work with Sales to ensure a solid strategy around every opportunity. This includes leveraging the Segra fiber infrastructure to build managed services to capture the full
  • potential of that prospect utilizing mapping tools, product/technical knowledge, solid technical discovery and a good understanding of the competitive landscape and business plans.
  • Ensure the Segra network and product specifications are aligned for successful implementation of proposed solutions.
  • Provide training to the sales organization to keep the team engaged and educated on our products and services and the industry as a whole.
  • Gather all technical documentation as it relates to the customer design after the sale. This will require close engagement with the customer's technical resources along with Segra project management and service activation teams.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Product Management and Ops/Engineering to provide feedback from the field, competitive information, product roll out and support and training.
  • Create solid network diagrams and detailed scope of work documentation for both customer presentations and service activation teams.
  • What you will need:
  • Minimum 3-5 years in Telecommunications or related field in a technical role required.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and listening skills required. Business acumen
  • and technical confidence required.
  • Strong knowledge of network transport delivery and design required.
  • Experience with selling and designing solutions that include WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Services (*aaS), Firewall, UCaaS, SIP Trunking, PRI and W-Fi required.
  • Current industry certification supporting expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Route/Switch, Information Security/Cyber Security, or Data Center/Cloud preferred.

Suite 313, 29407</p><p>Requisition ID: 168167</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>We are currently looking to add a dynamic Telecommunications Lineman to our passionate team of environmental professionals.</p><p>Job Duties</p><p>DRG is looking for a Telecom Aerial Lineman who will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in accordance with standard industry practices in the construction, maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead telecommunications This position will be responsible to use various specialized equipment in an outside fast paced work environment. DRG Telecom Aerial Linemen install, operate, maintain, inspect and repair CATV lines to include Strand, Fiber and Coax. Job duties include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Install, operate, maintain, and repair overhead telecommunications plant.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret engineering plans.</p></li><li><p>Locate/troubleshoot telecommunication cables and wires.</p></li><li><p>Perform maintenance on telecommunication equipment.</p></li><li><p>Operates bucket trucks, hand tools, power tools, ladders, signal level meters, volt meters, and test equipment.</p></li><li><p>Operate communications device in accordance with company policies.</p></li><li><p>Operate Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner:</p></li><li><p>Clean, maintain, stock, and secure assigned vehicle and equipment, in accordance with company policies.</p></li><li><p>Utilize and become proficient with tasks, tools, test equipment and information that will enhance business results.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to industry specific, local, state and federal regulations, as applicable.</p></li><li><p>Know, understand and follow company policy.</p></li><li><p>Working on aerial spans.</p></li><li><p>Completes paperwork, time sheets, test results, vehicle inspection, and logs.</p></li><li><p>Assists other team personnel in the performance of their duties when requested to promote a team approach to problem solving.</p></li><li><p>Visually assess digging areas to ensure that areas have been staked/located prior to digging.</p></li><li><p>Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices according to DRG policy or the customer special request.</p></li><li><p>Report all personal and vehicle accidents/incidents immediately to supervisors, cooperate and assist in the investigations.</p></li><li><p>Assists with job site setup.</p></li><li><p>Operates construction equipment safely in a variety of urban and rural areas.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>Education and Qualifications:</p><p>An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily.
