Abrasive Technology currently has an opening for an energetic professional to join our Sales team. This position is located in the Columbus, Cincinnati, or Cleveland, OH area or Michigan area.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a sales role with a proven record of sales growth

  • Strong strategic thinking skills

  • Energetic, assertive, and with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization

  • Experience selling a technical product in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with current and future customers

  • Establish multiple level customer contacts. Comfortable discussing business strategy with the C-suite

  • Identify business development opportunities and create strategic approach of how best to add value for our customer on a national and global level

  • Work with marketing and customer service to create messaging, both verbal and visual, to most clearly express AT's value to its customers

  • Effectively communicate "Value Proposition" to our customers

  • Determine potential and optimized existing sales channels

  • Establish technical competence of Abrasive Technology and a technical rapport with customers

  • Define, achieve customer agreement, complete and document customer trials on new products/applications

  • Communicate efficiently with our internal customer service team members as necessary

  • Provide expertise for special projects, including trade shows, market research and product brochures/catalogues

  • Approximately 70% travel required for initial 6 months, then 50% travel required (Territory includes OH, IN, KY, WV, MI, and Western PA)

The Territory RF/Traffic Engineer 3 will work with team members and multiple regions to standardize traffic reporting and tools. Incorporate best practices using automation and process improvements. This position can be located in any valid Verizon location. * Work as a team with the regions, including but not limited to RF and Engineering to ensure current and future triggers are properly addressed. Utilize Fuze Planning and One Plan and enhance both platforms. * Analyze the capacity plans developed by the regions to ensure that capacity triggers are being addressed with adequate solutions, through FP and One Plan. * Participate in the regional capacity sessions. Observe the regional challenges and concerns so that we can provide better support. Offer alternative perspectives on what to prioritize with respect to Territory goals. * Work with regions to ensure that each sector < 3 Mbps has a plan in place to improve UPTP. * Work closely with Planning and HQ to incorporate changes in usage forecast to our growth projections. * Collaborate on the 6 month to 2 year growth plan and development of capital plans for the East Territory, working with the Regional Engineering teams and HQ planning. Provide roadmap and guidelines on for traffic planning and trending. * Conduct data analysis on KPI trends to find opportunities to improve planning. Develop and use service level data to determine the impact of new sites with regards to offload and performance. * Monitor current RF system efficiency metrics and assist with recommendations on improvement to meet capital and corporate objectives. * Continually review all aspects of Traffic planning. Use propagation modeling software to develop cell and carrier plans, pursue technical issues and reviewing new technical products/services to the benefit and improvement of the overall network. * Work with RF and Engineering to identify ways in which we can deploy solutions cost effectively and faster. Develop strategies that will reduce cost and timeframes. * Work with RF to standardize design configurations, equipment and processes. * Participate in the evolution of standardization processes for all traffic teams. * Participate in the development of Fuze Planning and One Plan as it relates to traffic. You'll need to have: * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience * Four or more years of relevant work experience * Experience in RF, Traffic or System Performance * Willingness to travel upto approximately 25% of the time. * Valid driver's license Even better if you have: * A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related discipline. * Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE technology. * Capacity Planning, knowledge of MPT/Fuze Planning. * Knowledge of LTE network KPIs and key parameters. * Experience with data analytics and forecasting. * Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
