Honeywell is looking for a Solutions Architect/Pre-Sales Engineer that will provide primary technical direct sales support to one or more assigned account representatives with the objective of achieving monthly, quarterly and annual quota assignments throughout the sales cycle. Use your broad subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell Productivity and Workflow solutions. You will support device integration, arrange testing to ensure customer acceptance, and coordinate integration activities with various internal and/or external support groups. You must be selfmotivated with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology sales and consulting. You may consult prospective users on product capability and may provide valuable input for product development. The selected candidate must be able to travel up to 50%.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technology-related discipline.
  • 5+ years in customer-related sales support activities, analyzing customer business needs, and designing solutions to address client needs.


  • Working knowledge of network connectivity

  • Software development experience

  • Strong project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships

  • Self-motivated, hardworking, results orientated and problem solver with a positive outlook

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • The ability to adapt to changing schedules and customer requirements

  • Understanding of Enterprise level solutions

VIEW JOBS 4/23/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-22T00:00 Lubrizol, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a market-driven global company that combines complex, specialty chemicals to optimize the quality, performance and value of customers’ products while reducing their environmental impact.   Lubrizol produces and supplies technologies to customers in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets.  These technologies include lubricant additives for engine oils, driveline and other transportation-related fluids, industrial lubricants, and additives for gasoline and diesel fuel.  In addition, Lubrizol makes ingredients and additives for home care and personal care products and pharmaceuticals, and specialty materials, including plastics technology and performance coatings in the form of resins and additives.    The purpose of this role is to support Plant Operations by continuously improving the process safety program at the Texas plants.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:   * Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for processes and projects to meet and exceed OSHA PSM and Responsible Care requirements. * Help to coordinate Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Independent Protection Layer Select meetings, Human Reliability Analyses, and other Process Safety functions to support PHA findings.  This will involve working with both contractors and on-site personnel to ensure optimal results. * Develop and implement standards for safety instrumented systems (SIS), including proof test requirements and schedules. * Assist with Process Safety training for new and experienced employees. * Take an active role in maintaining and updating process safety information, including chemical reactivity databases, PSM procedures, P&IDs, PSV sizing documents, and Process Flow Diagrams. * Participate on Incident Investigations, Process Safety, Venting/Fired Equipment, Chlorine, and Electrical Classification subcommittees as needed. * Assist with prioritization and management of the backlog for the vessel re-rating effort.   Qualifications: * Bachelor’s in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field * Five or more years in the chemical process industry with process or operations experience * Team player, able to work with a wide variety of people in different roles to reach a workable solution to an identified safety hazard * Detail oriented, with uncompromising safety principles   Considered a plus: * Familiarity with Lubrizol additive chemistry * Process Safety Experience such as PHA or LOPA facilitation * Experience with PHA Works or other PHA software * Experience with dispersion modeling software (CHARM, ALOHA) * Chemical Process engineer experience supporting daily operations     Everyone's heard the stereotype: it's all cowboys, cactus and cattle.
