Summary of Job Description:
Team Player who will help oversee and grow new and existing accounts that support the organizational sales goals in the Ohio market.
Job Description:
- 4-year degree or equivalent proven history of MEP Professional Services or Equipment Procurement
- 10+ years of sales experience related to the industry of engineering services, MEP drafting, or MEP equipment sales
- Local person preferred with many contacts in the Ohio Market
- Proven track record of growing existing sales and clients responsibly without getting company market share tied to any one client
- Proven Track record of being able to bring in and penetrate new untapped markets that are aligned with the company’s strategic vision
- Ability to develop into the leader of the sales organization and implement an overall sales strategy
- Able to track sales KPI’s using CRM software to ensure we are staying in line with the company financial plan
- Mentor younger sales personnel to help transfer knowledge and key skills
- Must be able to possess and thrive in a fast-moving environment, with limited training, possess a “figure it out” attitude, and work in a dynamic growing firm
- Must embrace a non-structured environment
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to track all leads
- Provide input for monthly sales forecasting to help see when billing will occur and forecast work hours needed
- Complete Proposal Authorization (PA’s) and Contract Authorization (CA’s) to accurately price, schedule, and assess risk of every opportunity
- Participate in strategic sales meetings for specific pursuits
- Call-on & Serve Architects, Engineers, and Contractors
• “Pound pavement” to grab coffee, lunch & learns, or drinks to re-introduce the company to the A/E/C market
• Assist Mike & Ben in equipment procurement opportunities
• Assist Mike & Cory in Commissioning opportunities - Be trained to write proposals
• Shadow MEP & Cx departments to gain an understanding of company.
• Shadow current sales rep until his retirement to gain an understanding of how to sell “legacy” services
• Shadow owner to gain an understanding of how to sell “strategic” services
