As a Sales Engineer based in San Diego, CA, you will have responsibility for achieving assigned sales quota in your sales territory, which will primarily consist of a large, strategic account. You will work closely with field applications engineers, business development managers and product marketing managers in the pursuit of new business. Revenue growth and accurate forecasting are key elements of the position.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Sales and support of wireless and digital test solutions into assigned accounts.

  • In collaboration with product lines, business development teams, and sales management, establish and execute annual business plans and quarterly updates.

  • Products and technologies supported include: Wireless Protocol and RF Conformance Test Systems, Wireless Network Emulators, Bit Error Rate Testers (>100+Gbps), PHY layer compliance solutions (PAM4, Infiniband, CAUI, Thunderbolt, PCIe, USB, etc), Microwave/mmWave Vector Network Analyzers, Microwave and Optical Spectrum Analyzers.

  • Must be able to present technical solutions and communicate complex economic and technology based value propositions to all levels within a target account, from line level technicians and engineers to C level executives.

  • Trade-show and industry event representation.

  • Introduction of Anritsu's executive, product line marketing, and business development managers into key accounts.

  • Disciplined follow-up on leads and customer support requests, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Weekly funnel management updates.

  • Monthly sales forecast by product and customer.

  • Travel 10% in support of business objectives.

  • Lifting and transportation of equipment up to 50lbs in and out of personal vehicle.

  • Reporting to the National Sales Manager, West based in Southern California.


  • BSEE or equivalent, MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

  • 3-5+ years of relevant technical sales or customer facing experience in the wireless/cellular industry.

  • Completion of a sales training program (e.g. Miller-Heiman, Solution Selling, or similar)

  • Proficient in Wireless communications including a strong understanding of LTE, LTE Advanced and 5G NR.

  • Understanding of high-speed digital signal integrity concepts and trends, including: BER, Stressed Eye Tolerance, Jitter, Emphasis, Equalization, Cross Talk, Clock Recovery, and fundamental time domain measurement principles.

  • Knowledge and experience working with microwave VNA measurements in signal integrity applications is also valuable.

Position Objective Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an ECM Sr. Solutions Engineer! The ECM Sr. Solutions Engineer architects, develops and administers customized document management solutions for the KMBS BIS ECM customer base. Responsible for determining/ documenting technical requirements, developing functional specifications and implementing comprehensive "end to end" document capture, scan, store and retrieval solutions. Participates in the document discovery and Statement of Work processes, in an effort to clearly define the products and Professional Services labor required, to solve defined business problems. Develops project plans consisting of a work break down structure of tasks, as well as manages the pre-production issues and change orders, as required. Designs and implements complex ECM workflow solutions in concert with base system installations. Delivers post production technical support, as required. Develops product demos and prototype systems in concert with ECM Sales. Due to the current circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak, this position does not yet have a start date. However given the importance of the role, we will continue to actively interview candidates during this time, with the intention of completing the hiring process and extending an offer as soon as we are able to do so.
