Sales Engagement Representative-HP
The HP Chrome Sales Engagement Representative will be responsible for driving Google Chrome device and Chrome Enterprise and Education License sales through HP's business and education channel, specifically focused on acquisition and whitespace accounts. The HP Chrome Sales Engagement Representative will proactively coordinate the creation and delivery of sales support, training, and campaigns to the SMB HP reps. Responsibilities are centered around driving growth in the following key sales metrics: chrome units sold, joint pipeline engagement & management and achieving quarterly sales targets.
Gaining a deep understanding of Google and HP priorities and goals will be crucial to the success of this role and enable viable training and sales program execution. This individual will evangelize Google offerings and ensure HP channel and direct teams are supported with training and relevant tools and resources to drive HP Chrome unit sales.
Responsibilities & Attributes for Success:
Serves as point of contact for Google Chrome sales and support for the business and education segment. Builds and maintains working relationships across Inside and field sales teams as well as HP OEM and Sales Managers.
Owns Director and Manager Relationships onsite and engages regularly to gather feedback on how to better support the sales teams. Facilitates discussions regarding growth of Google presence and impact. Regularly attends team meetings and provides updates to HP channel sales teams on key Chrome advantages and differentiators.
Coordinates joint HP/Google target opportunity identification and pipeline management on an ongoing basis.
Strategically engages HP channel sales teams to proactively sell Chrome solutions to end customers and supports HP's sales organization by potentially engaging with customers on sales calls and/or aligning opportunities with Google field sales teams.
Provides regular and specified trainings to HP channel sales teams.
What's required to be considered:
2 or more years of experience in sales, sales enablement, product management, or product marketing role preferably in IT related industry
Strong organizational and project management skills
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate internally and with external partners
Bachelor's degree preferred
