Carbonite is hiring an experienced sales enablement manager who can lead our global sales and channel enablement program, creating materials, managing the process, driving engagement and tracking success of the program. The growth in our portfolio and the diversity of our sales team has made it imperative that Carbonite invest in a central sales enablement function that spans our geographies and ensures consistent, complete and effective sales training throughout the year.

The Sales Enablement Manager will lead the enablement function, working with the team in portfolio marketing, sales operations, channel operations and the sales leadership to build and execute an industry-leading sales training curriculum.

We're seeking an individual who enjoys collaborating with sales teams, is eager to put in place a structured approach to training and can both engage peers to generate the content and refine it to ensure it's consumable by everyone from business development reps to enterprise sellers. Specific Objectives & Responsibilities

Your First Three Months:

  • Establish a curriculum to on-board and maintain currency of the training program.

  • Deliver initial sales enablement training live and remotely on an ongoing basis to our sales team and channel, according to the structure outlined.

  • Ensure participation and certification from all sellers, tracking progress and rectifying areas of concern.

  • Cultivate relationships with the global sales leaders, as well as select sales reps, sales operations, channel operations, marketing and product management.

  • Cooperate with technical enablement efforts to ensure synergy and consistency.

  • Drive growth in deal size and win rates.

Three to Six Months and Beyond:

  • All of the above, plus;

  • Structure and deliver or coordinate the delivery of quarterly enablement, as well as new-hire onboarding according to the structure outlined

  • Create a plan for extending internal sales enablement into external channel enablement

  • Extend initial sales enablement to a broader set of capabilities, beyond our core solutions

  • Identify areas where online, packaged enablement would expedite the delivery of materials, while maintaining effectiveness

Key Challenges to Overcome

  • Creating an enablement program, from a very early stage.

  • Becoming facile with the products and their key benefits.

  • Build relationships with our sales and channel operations teams to help create and communicate sales process and execution content.

  • Develop strong rapport with our often-remote sales leadership.

Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years' of experience in Sales Enablement and/or training, preferably at a technology organization.

  • Leadership is a key attribute of a better candidate. And effective leadership is based on knowledge, respect, and impact; it isn't assigned.

  • You can work effectively across functions (Marketing, Sales) and organization levels (executives, peers, individual contributors).

  • Demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring salespeople.

  • You possess excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.

This person will ensure that we are delivering our customers, partners, and contributors trusted and high performing educational solutions. The Global Partner Enablement Manager will report to the Senior Director of Global Enablement. This position is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These programs contain complex activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. Responsibilities: * Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization * Proactively seek input from all stakeholders to insure that curriculum plans and learning paths support software, sales, and services enablement and education initiatives * Assist organization(s) in identifying training and development needs and recommending various training methods that are best suited for audience(s) * Define and initiate projects, and assign project managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the program * Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent * Responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program * Work with subject matter experts to compile information that will be designed and developed into learning modules * Assist in translating strategies into actionable training initiatives, plans and tactics * Manage the delivery of training programs, including internal resources and external vendors * Conduct comprehensive needs assessments * Establish and negotiate contractual agreements and manage vendor relationships * Maintain program costs ensuring budgetary compliance * Input and maintain class data within the Learning Management System * Identify training and non-training solutions to performance gaps * Consult with business partners and vendor partners * Lead project teams and participate as a member of a project team and work on special projects as needed * Measure and evaluate impact of training on employee/partner performance/retention, customer satisfaction/loyalty (NPS)/retention * Create training ROI reports for management Requirements: * 5+ years in a training, enablement, channel or education role * 5+ years working in high technology, networking, or security product organizations * Success in training channel partners or sales roles in technology organizations * Ability to identify opportunities to create improvements in channel enablement processes and results * Ability to quickly identify opportunities for new and existing channel business process optimization * Experience working cross functionally with key stake holders and managing virtual teams to develop effective partner enablement program * Experience with training content, course and role based learning path development * Independently capable of driving day-to-day activities with minimal management consultation * Highly energetic and motivated; strong attention to detail and accepts challenging assignments enthusiastically * Strong organizational, oral and written communication and customer service skills required * Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to support the success of Infoblox * May supervise (hire, evaluate, and/or terminate) other employees, but position is an individual contributor * International business travel of approximately 25 percent yearly is expected for this position Education: * Bachelor's degree preferred Perks: * Big company technology used in a small company environment * Direct access to knowledgeable leaders and mentors * Being part of the decision-making process * Work for a rapidly growing company * Career path with opportunities to grow your career It's an exciting time to be at Infoblox.
