Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing sales enablement through the TEGNA Salesforce instance, so that the TEGNA sales organization can effectively access sales learning and process administered by TEGNA corporate revenue team.

Serves as the primary point of contact in managing the Learning Management System (LMS), including:

  • Proficient management of curriculum, records, registrations, users, testimonials, and content

  • Establishes ongoing effective partnerships with LMS vendor

  • Troubleshoots technical and user issues in a timely manner

  • Communicates and/or deploys system updates

Responsibilities:

  • Be the champion for an engaging and effective CRM system for the field. Review analytics to provide insights on sales adoption so that enhancements can be made for our sellers.

  • Serves as the primary point for communication of sales enablement to the Salesforce IT team.

  • Works marketing team on marketing materials that need to be enabled in Salesforce.

  • Communicate post all priority sales communication and training calls, including TEGNA Training Team calls.

  • Create effective communication in Salesforce by selling up chatter groups by roles.

  • Administers reporting and data analysis on a variety of training needs (i.e., training results, skill adoption, survey responses, assessment scores, etc.); Provides general administrative support to training team.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years' experience working with a Learning Management System, or other online management platform required

  • Success working with Salesforce and/or CRM system.

  • Proven ability to deliver professional communication to diverse audiences required

  • Proven ability to project manage

  • Multi-tasking, technical and interpersonal skills are essential

  • Personal commitment to details and shared organization critical

  • Understanding of digital marketing products preferred

  • Success working within a Sales environment desired

  • Experience in training, teaching, or related learning field a plus

This person should be someone highly organized, curious, calm under pressure and who smiles in the face of challenging obstacles. The role will focus on supporting high impact learning opportunities for individuals and teams. The Sales Enablement Specialist role will be the backbone of our training program in providing a seamless learning experience to all our customer facing employees. The individual in this role will support the Director of Sales Enablement with training programs and events, with a heavy focus on program maintenance, event preparation, training facilitation, and LMS administration. This role supports our Global Sales Enablement effort and will report to the Director of Sales Enablement. Key Result Areas: * Own scheduling, communication and execution of training and development programs for field Sales roles globally * Work with Sales Enablement, Sales and Team Member Services (TMS) to help manage the administration of the Sales Onboarding Program (Pre to Post) to ensure a smooth transition into Venafi for all Sales New Hires * Assist with team operations and systems including the Learning Management System, Sales Enablement communications, learning program assets, metrics and reporting * Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Brainshark, our Learning Management system (LMS) to support users and content creators in using the system and to provide recommendation about best ways to implement content in the system to support the reporting needs and best user experience. Working with vendor to resolve technical issues * Oversee the content database to ensure accuracy and up-to-date content * Lead quarterly/annual planning and scheduling of training sessions and events, including calendar coordination, venue recommendation, and drafting of program invitations * Serve as the primary point of contact for program attendees, triaging inquiries on behalf of Director of Sales Enablement * Audit annual program evaluations and provide summary information for instructors and stakeholders * Internally market and support Sales Enablement Program Minimum Skills and Requirements: * Bachelor's degree * 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role * Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint guru * Background in working with Learning Management Systems Sales Tools and Sales Enablement development highly desired * Knowledge of sales process and methodology, specifically Sandler Sales techniques What Sets You Apart: * Able to travel approximately 25% of the year, or as needed * Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills * Able to juggle multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines * Experience using Brainshark About Venafi: Venafi is the cybersecurity market leader in machine identity protection, securing machine-to-machine connections and communications.
